Westcott E-10192 00 16"/40cm Aluminum Ruler

A nice sturdy ruler and the reviewer who said it was nonslip helped me decide to buy it. I am mostly using it on template plastic so nonslip was necessary.

I had a plastic one which I used for decades, until it was accidentally was broken. So purchased this one being more robust and probably will outlast me. Clear to read and is slightly longer than the shattered old one.

Good long metal ruler, great for craft work. Unlike plastic / wood no little edge splinters when using a craft knife.

Doe’s what it says on the tin. Very sturdy. Has a nonslip strip on the back which is very useful when using a craft knife.

thought I'd pay a bit extra to get a quality ruler but am disappointed. All the scales are printed onto paper tape which is than stuck to the actual aluminium extrusion. within days the tape started to lift at the corners (see picture) The tape is also easily marked and can'r be cleaned for fear of damaging it further. Sadly I cannot recommend this ruler and certainly would not buy again.

Linijka wykonana dobrze. Skala jest czytelna. Od spodu linijka posiada gumową taśmę, która pozwala ją utrzymać ją w miejscu. Potwierdzam jednak komentarze innych osób, linijka włożona do koperty bez żadnego zabezpieczenia. Przyszła skrzywiona (to udało mi się naprawić), jednak uszkodzenia widoczne są również na jej końcu. Za tą cenę produkt powinien być bez wad.

Aluminium Lineal in 40 cm Länge zu einem Hammerpreis. Einzeln gekauft direkt nach Hause via Prime geliefert. Keine Ahnung wie sich das rechnet... Ich nutze es für den Modellbau als harte Kante, zum Ziehen von Linien und Trennen von verschiedenen Teilen etc. Ja, die Einteilung in Inch und cm sind per Aufkleber. Die Genauigkeit habe ich nicht getestet, das ist mir aber auf den Millimeter nicht wichtig. Sollte ich das müssen habe ich andere Messinstrumente. Alle die sich am Aufkleber stören können sich gern für deutlich (!) mehr Geld ein anderes Alu-Lineal mit geeichten Angaben kaufen. Das ist ein komplizierter und aufwendiger Herstellungsprozess und der kostet. Für unter 3 € gekauft und am nächsten Tag gleich direkt an die Wohnungstür geliefert, stellt man keine weiteren Fragen um Millimeter. Ich behaupte mal für den normalen Anwender wie Schule, Büro oder Freizeit reicht das völlig aus. Selbst wenn der Aufkleber irgendwann einmal abgeht ist das reine Alu Lineal immer noch extrem hilfreich und langlebig. Zumindest für den der es braucht.
