LyxPro 50 ft Shielded Cat6 Ethercon RJ45 Cable, Male to Male, Blue

Bought this so I could use my churches Behringer Wing for an outdoor concert. Worked perfectly and had no troubles whatsoever. It was fully compatible and had not connectivity speed issues with it.

This cable does exactly what you want it to do. 100 ft is the perfect length when connecting stage-boxes, I’ve brought the LyxPro 100 Feet Shielded CAT6 Ethercon Cable to multiple retreats and events, and it has proven its worth time and time again. Despite heavy use and constant rerouting through various setups, the cable has held up incredibly well. Its robust construction handles frequent plugging, unplugging, and pulling without any issues, maintaining a reliable connection throughout. I have had some issues in the past where old cables would break overtime! Will update if anything changes!

Used this to plug a Bose tower to the Bose equalizer. Much cheaper than the Bose branded product and works great. The Bose system solved all our audio problems that our 20 year old kludge system had. This product is used every Sunday at my church.

Very disappointing. I bought this cable a few months ago for my church and I think I got a bad unit because it has given us nothing but problems. From the first day, the connection was spotty and prone to dropouts if the cable was even jostled a little bit. After weeks of dealing with it thinking something was wrong with our Allen&Heath x32 sound board or our stage rack, the cord finally gave out. Now when it is plugged in, the link/error lights on our sound board don't even register a digital snake is connected. So, we replaced it with a regular old ethernet cable and we had a better quality sound and reliability instantly. The entire experience has been incredibly stressful and frustrating, especially for a mobile church on a tight budget.

The casing is about as flexible as any of the other Ethercon cables sets that exceed 100 feet. I was cautiously skeptical about how stiff the cable might be and if a blue Ethercon cables would be useful. As it turns out, when running multiple Ethercon cables in the same path, it is nice to have an obvious identifier in dark spaces, so yes, BLUE is a great choice to add to the pile of black cables. The one thing users really need to do with any of these long Ethercon cables is unwrap them and then methodically spin out the 'memory' of the cable as you re-wrap it, under-over style. Then you are good to go. Some Velcro ties to keep it neat are a good idea as well.

Works well and a little stiff but ok

Decent cable, especially for the price. They actually soldered the shield/drain to the metal shell of the RJ45, which is a REQUIREMENT for doing AES50. We will see how they hold up, and I'll update this if they fail early, or buy many more if they don't. Of course they are not real Neutrik connectors, but at this price, you'd be crazy to expect that. They are defiantly better than most clone connectors.

This LyxPro 50-foot shielded CAT6 Ethercon cable works exactly as expected. I used it to connect my Behringer X32 mixer to the Behringer digital snake, handling all instrument, mic, and speaker outputs seamlessly.
