Great for the Floor
I like the Monster. I've only used it twice but it gets my hardwood floors clean without all the wait-to-dry time and streaks associated with regular mopping with wood floor cleaner. It seems a little hard to push but I think that is me not yet used to using the steam blast function. I did use it on our carpet on the landing and while it did not remove stubborn stains (only tried it with water though), it did pull up dirt on the pad and the landing looks better, although probably not as good as a professional carpet cleaning job. I will try cleaning again with the carpet cleaner next time. The best thing about it is the time it saves you! Yes, you still have to sweep the floor to remove any rocks or dirt/debris that might scratch your wood floors, but once that is done, you can do a whole room in a minute or two. I won't trade that for anything! You save an incredible amount of time by also not having to wring out a mop every couple of minutes. I was never one for the *wiff** wet *et product line only because that seems (to me) to just push dirt around on the floor without really picking anything up on the small cloth. While this may seem a little similar, the pad on the Monster is much bigger and more absorbent plus it uses steam to sanitize. After running the Monster over a section of floor, a clean cloth on the Monster-cleaned area won't find dirty residue. I think this is a well-made product--everything stays assembled during use and it works properly. The plastic seems to be quality and is thick enough to withstand a little abuse. It is also pretty light weight but still feels solid. It is also easy to clean up the floor pads in soapy water. So far, I am impressed!

Great For Porcelain Tile Floors....
Just tried out my new Euroflex Steam Mop "Monster"....the film any kind of mop & detergent cleaning system left on my shiny white tiled kitchen floor despite numerous rinses drove me crazy, plus I am arthritic so the extended activity did NOT put me in the best of moods. I wash my hard floors (tiles & laminates) every day & the Hubs & I automatically kick off our shoes and wear either slippers or socks about the home so my floors do not get dirty however...with pets and an Oopsie husband who is kid-messy in the kitchen, I needed something. First, it's fairly sturdy. Secondly, has enough weight behind it without being too heavy to handle....so we're NOT talking about a flimsy made item. Putting the Monster together was a snap....I elected to use clear water to clean only, a measure cup is included and filling the reservoir was very easy (ONLY WATER, nothing else goes in!)....plugged in it heated the water in the reservoir quickly & the little green light on the base alerted me that the unit was ready to go ( there's a parking mat you sit the plugged unit on while resting to protect prolonged contact with flooring). Now mind you, I had already cleaned the floor with my old method before the Monster arrived (Swiffer AND extra rinse because the Swiffer leaves a film) so I was eager to see if the Monster would pick up anything the Swiffer may have left behind. It did...the thick, cushy microfiber pad (comes with two for hard floors and a removable glide plate with a third pad for carpets) that clings to the bottom of the unit picked up dirt left behind...To release steam, just move the handle down as you push it forward.....there's a trigger on the upper handle for short bursts of steam for problem areas but that's not an issue with OCD me & my floors. The cleaned areas are slightly wet and dry within three minutes....with NO STREAKS! No filmy residue either....Just sparkle clean shiny tiles! Since I would use this only on my kitchen & bathroom floors...the reservoir capacity was more than adequate with one filling. For a second filling during use, you do need to let the unit cool down for 10 minutes before refilling. Now, the test. A white dampened paper towel rubbed vigorously in different areas came up pristine clean. The underside of the cleaning pad was slightly soiled telling me my Swiffer didn't do such a great job. A quick spritz of liquid dish washing detergent into the cleaning pad and some quick warm water rinsing in the sink cleaned up the re-usable pad in a flash. I'm sold. Swiffer is out in the trash ( Keeping my Libman floor cleaner with reusable pads for my laminate flooring, tho as I don't trust steam cleaning with it). If I need anything stronger that the steam, cleaning solution in a spray bottle first will do. The only problem is Monster won't fit under the overhang of my lower cabinets but I can live with that- my Libman can handle those spots. PLUS my floor is sanitized with no chemicals-wonderful since I have a dog and cat!

Decent Steamer
This steamer once out of the box, I was using it almost every other day. This review is based on two weeks of use. Out of the box, I followed the instructions. The trigger for the steamer does not work. Unfortunately, right off the bat, there was issues with this option. Still have not been able to get it to function however, the regular steam is what I was going for. I do not think that the steam gets to 250 degrees. More like 110 max. It does come out at a steady stream and definitely beats using a mop. My previous practice was to use a spray bottle and a micro fiber mop. This with all its flaws still beats doing it my old way. 50% of my home is natural hardwood floors. It does a great job in cleaning them. My floors have never felt/looked cleaner. On the carpet, the steam really did a nice job in breaking down old dirt/stains. I followed it up with a shampoo to make sure I picked up what it broke down then steamed it again. Carpets came out really nice. I know that people complain about the handle and rightfully so. It had not broken on me as I am trying to be gentle when moving it back and forth. I can sometimes feel it slip apart when it catches to the ground on a stickier surface. Overall, I would still recommend this product but would advise about trying to find it locally. Just in case it needs to be returned. Also, because I was not able to use the Clean Blast, I would recommend that it may not be necessary for most people.

Not made to last!
When I bought this steamer in October of 2013, I would have given it a better rating. It worked incredibly well. The only issue with it was the very cheaply made handle that broke after a few uses. The steamer just quit working today. So, it doesn't matter how good a product is if it stops working in less than a year. I am highly disappointed.
