Fischertechnik ROBO TX ElectroPneumatic Set

Item arrived on time. It is very fun to build and educational as well. It integrates some interesting principles in electro-pneumatics, mechanics and robotics software. For the color sorting robot project, I had to modify the parameters of the color recognition on the provided software in order for the machine to sort the blue, red and white pieces separately. I found the software troubleshooting very fun and rewarding. Of note, the kit doesn't include the txt controller which I bought separately.

I had horrible experience with this German company. I wanted to start a class so I bought plenty of their products across the lines. Now, at Profi levels, more and more the models depend on the controller for them all to offer the best educational values. Day One the boxes arrived and the Controller broke. I reached out to both the seller and the company in Germany. They all pretended to provide technical support while all that meant was, "hey, there cannot be any problem. It should be working now". That's bad customer service. Another thing is that almost all of their products related to electronics do not have manuals for such equipment. You buy even a can opener and you get some instructions on how to use it property. If there is anything that is "okay" with Fischertechnik then it is the Building Instruction manual. It's okay, but it's all elementary. Comparing to other STEM educational packages ( I will not name names here), the "soft value" of post-purchase services from Fischertechnik is way too inferior. I will not come back to this company.

I'm sure this product could be a fun toy--my son was excited to get it. However, his face dropped when he found out 3 additional items are needed to make it work!!! Some software (on a CD, and PC compatible only), a power/battery set, and a computer controller currently selling for about 500 smackeroos on amazon. this puts the cost of this toy to just under 800 in greenbacks. this is crazy. It's going back pronto. My son says "ripoff".

This is a great kit. Many interesting models to be made. Yes, of course you need a RoboTx controller! I especially love the pinball game. Great fun.

Seit knapp 40 Jahren (mit den üblichen Unterbrechungen natürlich) baue ich jetzt mit Fischertechnik. Eigentlich müsste es einem dann ja mal langweilig werden. So lange Fischertechnik Kästen wie diesen herausbringt, wird das noch lange nicht der Fall sein. Die 4 Modelle bauen von der Programmierung und der Mechanik her aufeinander auf, es wird also mit jedem Schritt etwas Neues, ein wenig Komplizierteres hinzugefügt. Hervorragend gemacht: das erste Modell- ein kleiner Motor- kann auch ohne das Interface aufgebaut werden. Für die anderen Modelle kann auf das Interface jedoch nicht verzichtet werden. Der Bau der Modelle nimmt ca. 30 Minuten bis maximal 1,5 Stunden in Anspruch, je nach Vorkenntnissen kommt für das Programmieren nochmal die gleiche Zeit hinzu. + Sehr gut gemachte Anleitung, sowohl gedruckt als auch "elektronisch" + hoher, mit jedem Modell gesteigerter Anspruch + Teile in gewohnt guter Qualität - In der Tat hat mir bei einem Fischertechnik Baukasten noch nie ein Teil gefehlt + Modelle regen zum weiteren Ausbau an Motor: mit zwei oder sogar drei Zylindern Farbsortierer: ohne den Zwischenschritt zum Farberkennen, oder mehr Farben, Flipper: andere Streckenführung und mehr als nur einen einzigen Ort zum Punkte zählen, das Interface gibt es her ) + Programmierung ebenso ( mehr Farben, Reihenfolgen verändern oder optimieren) - Das preisliche Einstiegslevel ist - hauptsächlich wegen des Interface - recht hoch. Außer, man hat das schon... Wer schon Fischertechnik Teile und das Interface zu Hause hat, der wird mit diesem Kasten definitiv eine Menge Spaß haben.

Ne perdez pas de vue que le module TXT de Fishertechnik n'est pas contenu dans la boîte alors qu'il permet de donner vie aux différents montages proposés. Par contre, si vous êtes amateur de programmation de microcontrôleurs (Arduino par exemple), cette boîte permet de vous initier de façon ludique : les fiches techniques des éléments electro-mécaniques sont disponibles sur le site de Fishertechnik.

Attention! Il n'est pas indiqué dans la description qu'il faut acheter un boitier de commande à plus de 240€ pour que ce jouet fonctionne, ainsi qu'une batterie. Si vous regardez attentivement les photos, vous verrez qu'il y a un boitier de contrôle qui est un peu partout sur les différentes options de montage. Il faut savoir qu'il, n'est pas fourni ! Sur l'image principale de la boîte, vous verrez l'image de ce boitier avec indiqué "TXT comptaible". Il faut le savoir...!
