The overall feeling of security is not there for me with this. I've used it with several different trailers now and each fit slightly different. I got a U-Haul box trailer and it took some positioning to get it to stay correctly, not it did work. I feel with a swift blow with a hammer or something of the like and this thing will give in rather easily. I may be surprised, but that's the feeling I get when I use it. If it didn't have the Master name on it I would certainly be even more concerned, but I'm rather trusting in their good name. I certainly feel like at least I'm using some security but again I question how much effort it might be to get it off. For that I take a star off. And the fact that it is a bit tough to install on certain hitches also affects my rating. All in all, it seems like a good product though and feels robust.

This is the best trailer lock for me since i have 3 different ball size units and it works on all of them. A rugged construction and it looks like it will hold up to severe weather conditions.
