Tech 21 is real MilSpec

This was an absolute design fail by Tech21. I had this for my iPhone 16 Pro Max and one of the best cases I’ve ever own, and I’ve been a loyal Tech21 fan since 2015. But this one is a perfect example of ruining a good thing. Why they put an opening where the camera button is that exposes the phone to damage is beyond comprehension. The back of the phone case material is scratch prone. Have had my 16 pro max Evo pro case for over a year and dropped many times and still looks the same as the day it arrived. Disappointed in the Tech21 design team, what a letdown and went with the ESR line and it’s been a great case to date.

The case is nice, but honestly, I missed the camera cover that the old generation had and I’ve already broken several screen protectors because of the part of the camera control side that is exposed, which basically defeats the whole purpose of protecting the screen protector and the case I think I’ll have to look for a different case going forward

Bought this case as a long time Tech21 user. So disappointed! The back is incredibly slippery and the camera button cutout leaves the edge of the phone exposed (16 pro max case didn’t). I am returning.

Excellent build, awesome strap was included. Worth it especially with these new designs

Best quality

I’m loving this case. It has a solid exterior with a soft silicone interior that keeps the device well protected. I like the anti-slip design that grips the device tightly. It would’ve been even better if it’s fully covered the device, including the camera button on the side. I hope you can design one like that in the future

Brought this as always previously had tech 21 cases and had an issue with the Otterbox defender case (camera button fell out and got lost) after about three weeks of use. Case feels good in the hand however the glaring issue with it is the massive gap in the side for the camera button. There is a possibility that if the phone is dropped and lands a certain way that damage may be caused to the screen or frame. Have returned this and gone for a case that has the side bumper all the way around with a cut out hole for the camera button.

Case faults at where the camera button is at as only had my new iPhone 17 pro max for 2 days and there’s a random chip on where the case is exposed. Wouldn’t recommend buying as it doesn’t cover all aspects of the phone like they usually make them.
