Fred Letterpressed Numbers Cookie Cutters, Grey

It's a little pricey for a single cookie-cutter, but the Gingerdead Man cookie-cutter is very well made and absolutely worth buying. I own a LOT of cookie-cutters, and tend to prefer metal over plastic cutters (and rarely buy imprint cutters, as they tend to not be worth the trouble), but this cutter feels substantial, cuts through dough easily, and the imprint actually worked very well. I had a bit of a hard time with flour collecting in the teeth, the pelvis, the toes (phalanges, to be pedantic), and sometimes in the ribs, so I recommend keeping a skewer handy to scrape excess flour out of the design. I used the cutter with gingerbread, a dough I normally chill before baking, but the imprints actually looked better when I didn't chill the dough, so I would recommend experimenting before baking a full batch of biscuits, no matter the dough you're using. I would definitely recommend this cookie cutter. If you have to make and ice a lot of biscuits at once, it takes substantially less time to use the imprint and flood the indent than if you were to ice each cookie freehand. And the design is adorable! My anatomy class was delighted.

I love Fred products and this is the cheapest I've seen the ginger dead man at (£3.00 + £0.90 postage). The little box it comes in is cute and it is pretty straightforward - - cut it out, turn it around and press the skeleton on the top of the cutter into the cookie and bake. I don't care it's not Halloween - the gingerbread men are dead men walking anyways and I find it odd eating a cute little gingerbread man! Its good quality, robust and easy to get gingerbread out of it. Works well with sugar cookies too! I'd recommend to anyone who loves baking and loves quirky cookie cutters. It is quite big - approx 5.5" tall.

Very fun, novely item. Don't suppose I would have paid as much for it from a shop, but I am including the delivery costs which come from the USA. i didn't realise it was as much as it was as I bought it with a few other things at the same time! It is a bit fiddly doing the impression and the icing but with practice and a bit of time they do look realy good.

This is a good cookie cutter great for Halloween gingerbread skeletons. It arrived in good time and worked well the only problem was getting the dough out sometimes but dusting a little bit of flour in it before you cut the cookie helps it come out easily.

A great little item! Makes full size gingerdead men, so make a LOT of biscuit mix if you want to cut a few out. It doesn't say on the box, but cut them out, bake them, then when you take them out of the oven, stamp the biscuits before transferring them to the cooling rack. Also look great with the icing sugar in the 'skeleton'!

I bought this as my Little Bee wanted a ghost themed birthday party. It is bigger than I thought it would be but it's a good size for the party bag rather than giving packet sweets it was home baked biscuit! Little Bee and her friends loved it. I didn't have time to ice the skeletons but it was good just as it was. Will be making some gingerdead man come Halloween!

I purchased these to use with earthenware clay, they were just the right dimensions to make a sign for a friend. As a cutter they were a pain in the bum, there are no pushy out holes so when I cut out the clay it was effectively stuck inside the cutter and banging it out distorted it. I should imagine biscuit dough would be much the same. I got around this by laying cling film over the clay and then cutting......worked a treat.....I left the cling film on to imprint as well. This works perfectly, clean cutters and clean cut and imprint. Overall these cutters are a really fabulous idea and the merchant was very quick off the mark to send a second set after the first was lost in transit

I enjoy baking with this cookie cutter because it makes large sized cookies and always produces perfectly shaped and detailed cookies at all times.The detail is awesome and would make a great gift especially for Halloween.I like to use both a gingerbread recipe and also a shortbread recipe for variation.Both of these recipes produces an excellent good sized cookie. Very pleased with this product.

Stabiler Keksausstecher! Erst wird aus dem Teig die Keks Form ausgestochen und dann mit der Oberseite des Ausstechers das Muster in den Teig gedrückt. Dann backen und anschließend verzieren. Super Sache!

I purchased the medals set to make favors. I had never made sugar cookies before so I really set a challenge for myself. I found the stamper and cutter both easy to use. Just remember to keep flouring them before pressing into the dough or they will stick. The impression is nice and deep which also makes for easy decorating. I chose to fill in with royal icing and sprinkle sanding sugar rather than cover the whole front with icing. I was happy with the end result. The ribbon included in the set is nice and wide but there is very little of it so I used a skinny grosgrain instead. I also invested in a rolling pin with discs on the sides for even-thickness dough which helped a lot.
