Rick and morty Book One

WUBBA LUBBA DUB DUB!!!! AWESOME!! I know, right! I love the show. Big fan of Dan Harmon and his series COMMUNITY! It was awesome too. Anyways, this comicbook is lit as well as the show. It is published by Oni press and written by Zac Gorman. The Rick and Morty we see in the show is from dimension C-132. But in comics they are from the other dimension so that writers can write freely and it wouldn't harm the original show. Currently we have 33 issues and others are yet to be released. As we know we aren't reading the story of Rick and Morty from dimension C-132 but it's still amazing and entertaining. Rick is still crazy, Morty is still the sidekick of Rick and yeah, Jerry too is still full of insecurities. And we have our own series of mr.poopybutthole with summer and their adventures where he's a superstar. I just finished reading the comic and believe me fellas IT IS AMAZING. Each and every comic's adventure is different and amazing. I finished the entire series in a day. I was so much excited, that's why. If you are a fan of Rick and Morty you should definitely give it a shot!!!! .

Excelent quality book with glossy full colour pages, thick sturdy cover+spine and definitely more cost-effective than buying the first ten comics individually. The stories inside aren't just a cheap copy of the show and are unique and funny with really good artists and writers. Hopefully without spoiling the surprise I'll just say the thing* in the front cover is triggered by light not movement (I thought mine was broken but i was just in a darker room) so dont panic. Book is about 2cm thick and is ~18x13cm so a lot bigger than I was expecting but it just means the images inside arent squished and keep their quality. The art isnt done by the original animators so has a different style but personally I really prefer it, it makes all the characters slightly less harsh which is good for a comic format (I've included a picture of the least spoiler-y page I could find to show this off) Really good book even if you don't/haven't watched the show or as a resource for comic artists as there are a few different styles that can be learned from. My only negative is that the size will mean it probably wont fit on your regular bookshelf and you can't really read it on the bus or in bed or something like that but thats sort of expected with a compilation book like this. I think the price is good for what you get as you can get something of a similar quality for £40 and upwards and is to be expected for a popular and branded book like this. I ordered volumes 1-5 and the sound chips don't work in any of them,.I removed the little white light blocking slip and exposed the inside to light, nothing, Nada, zip! Volume 2 makes a weird repeating chirping spine, pretty sure that's not what it's supposed to do. Unfortunately the return window passed because I bought these as a birthday present a few months ago. Not cool.

Sono un fan della serie e volevo leggere anche le graphic novel. Le storie, l'umore, i dialoghi é tutto come nella serie, i disegni ed i colori - anche se molto belli -ovviamente non possono essere come nelle animazioni (é tutto scritto in inglese). Questo libro unisce le storie del "volume 1" e "volume 2" che a loro volta contengono le prime e le sconde cinque storie di rick and morty a fumetti (sono storie completamente diverse da quelle della serie). Ametto che il libro é piú pesante e spesso di quanto pensassi. Il chip a volte smette di funzionare, ma poi si aggiusta, comunque é stata una bella sorpresa. Arrivato con tempismo perfetto!
