One of the few heavy duty ceramic light holders you can find any more, others are of some kind of light plastic that gets yellow with heat, or thinner grade and poorly made ceramic. These are nicely made, Ultra Pro is way better then the old time brand that is now made by different folks and not as good.

This is a great lamp holder. I have replaced my old light fixture with this in my bathroom. It works very well.

Definitely better than plastic bases but if you drop it it'll break. (Why is it when I'm up on a ladder I drop things?) They're worth a couple bucks more. When connecting wires it's easy when there are single wires but when double wires need to be connected (lights in a series) it's a royal pain because the connection screws do not come out very far making the contact very difficult. It's normal but that doesn't mean I have to like it. Overall a good light fixture. I replaced my garage lights with the newfangled LED fan blade lights and they work great. Overall a good light fixture.

Not much to say about this. It is a fundamental piece of hardware for installing a light. It is as good as you need, functional, easy to use, and will last forever. What more can I say? Good product if this is what you need. I did. It served perfectly.

Installed 3 of these onto 3 1/4” j-boxes with no issues. Unfortunately, on unit #4 the knockouts for the 3 1/4” holes were cast so thick that the entire casting split while removing the knockout. This rendered the product useless, damaged, and unreturnable. Nice product without this manufacturing defect, but the 25% fail rate has caused me to replace it with another manufacturer’s product.

I got these to utilize my small ceiling light fan I purchased from another distributor that shows videos (TT). The light base works perfectly and allows my daughter to enjoy her remote control ceiling fan. Definitely recommend and a great price w quick delivery.

I bought this to replace a cheap plastic light socket on my basement ceiling. It seems to be well made and installation was easy. I used the supplied screws to secure it to the electrical box, and connected the black wire to the brass screw & the white wire to the silver screw. I didn't need to use the punch outs. The light bulb screwed into it with no issues.
