Super easy job for the average guy.
2003 4x4 Tahoe 5.3L 4L60E automatic transmission. Perfect quality GM part. Not sure which solenoid was given me problems so I replaced all of them the pressure sensor,filter,wire harness gasket and a trans flush,my transmission is like brand new now. Works flawlessly GM parts are always the best option for your Chevrolet.

Just change your trans fluid first!
Replaced and the other solenoid & kept getting the same error codes . Seems all that was necessary was to replace the worn out trans fluid. Now no more trans error codes.

2006 Avalanche running like new
My truck was accelerating really slow, likely stuck in third. Replaced the transmission fluid, filter, gasket, and the four solenoids (just one of this specific item) and its running like brand new! Pretty straightforward replacement. There are a few videos on Youtube. Just have to be careful removing the two solenoids on the driver's side since they are spring loaded and will come flying off once you remove the clip holding them in place. Apply some pressure with your thumb or finger to keep it in place while removing the clip and then slowly pull them out so you don't lose the valves inside the transmission channel.

Fix My Problem
2004 Chevy Venture. I purchase this van about a year ago. After a month or so tranny started acting funny randomly, mainly when taking off and going from 3rd to 4th. U know that clunk sound. But it wouldnt do it all the time so i never did anything about it . I did got new oil and filter thinking it might fix the problem but i never got to change it. So with time it seems to gotten worst here and there. So couple weeks ago out of no where she really started acting very strange. Main problem was going from 1st gear to 4th , then shaking here and there. And when stopping it would go from 4th to 1st and it fell like she wanted to shut off on me . So the following day check engine light turned on. I got the code PO742 , Torque converter circuit stuck on, which means this solenoid its bad. So i got this solenoid and the other 3 that this tranny has. I figured change them all while im there . About $100 for all 4. So my mechanic did the work at his house. It took about 5 hrs. Theres is a lot of labor involve before u have access to the tranny side cover where this solenoids are located. And we also change the oil and filter same day. Its being 6 days now and she drives and shifts great with no issues, better than when i purchase the van . Im a little worry there might be other damages done to the tranny because i waited so long but hopefully everything stays working the way it is now.

Regle mon problème gmc envoy 4l60e
J'avais une légère variation de rpm (100-200 rpm) sur l'orverdrive a 90km/l. J'ai changer 5litres d'huile et filtre, combiner a la valve 2-3 et ça fonctionne très bien. Gmc envoy 2005 4.2l transmission 4l60e
