2 Way Wireless Security Camera System & PIR Detection Outdoor 5.5MP Wi-Fi Video Surveillance System

Overall: Great purchase. I most certainly recommend these cameras to anyone looking for a reliable, robust, and very fairly priced set of security cameras. I purchased these cameras about six months ago. I wanted to replace my old/fancy! SUNBA system. I have to say that was a great replacement. They are MUCH easier to work with. Very user friendly. Literally plug and play! Connections, installation: I have four cameras. The unit covers up to 8 cameras. I am going to purchase another set of 4. They easily connect to Wi-Fi and their coverage is very good. One of the cameras in front of the house is about 150 ft (50 m) away from the main unit and I have never had any issues with the connection. My internet speed is about 250 Mbps. The instruction manual and the videos on the amazon purchase link were very easy to follow. It took me an hour to connect everything, including deciding where to put them. Mounting goes with two easy simple screw on any surface. It is very convenient that cameras are wireless, and you do not need to use long cables to connect them to the main unit. Though you need to find a way to plug them into power. I used low gauge extension wires (16 gauge) to send power to each camera from a nearby outlet. Shopping and delivery: Considering the given quality, I think this product comes at a very reasonable price. There are so many other products on the market with lower camera quality (3 MP) which are at least 50% more expensive. I got them on Amazon prime, received them within a couple of days, in perfect packaging. I did not have any issues with the product and did not need to contact customer services, but I was reading (I studied so many different models!) that they are very helpful if you run into any issues. Quality of image: The image quality (5MP) is very good. I can easily read the license plate of a car in my driveway with the camera in the parking garage, about 150 ft away. The night vision is also very good. The little red light on the camera provides enough background light to see everything within about 50 ft even in the absolute darkness. Sensitivity: You can set the sensitivity of the camera for recording any movements. You may also receive notifications about that. I reduced those to a reasonable amount to show larger objects moving, like humans, rather than the movements of a spider in front of the camera. App: The app is very responsive and easy to work with. If you do not use it for a while and then decide to open it, within a few seconds it connects to the source and gives you live images. For about a month you will have access to the cloud for free. It nicely allows you to go back and watch the movements on the recorded videos for the past few days. You may control it to show you exact minutes and seconds of a day. It highlights when movements have happened, so you do not waste time watching hours and days of recording. After the free trial, you still have full access to the previous recordings, though it does not highlight the recorded movements anymore. You can easily toggle between cameras, double click on one image to make it full screen or just see them all side by side. You can also access all the cameras on a computer or monitor, connected to the main unit. The whole process is very easy.

The NVR system, is an excellent value for the money. Setup and pairing the cameras with the system was relatively easy - plug and play. Video is clear (when not zoomed to the max). The app is user friendly, we can view 30sec video or the complete video whenever a motion is detected. The night vision recording in color is decent even in low light. Had some glitch during the setup but that was promptly resolved by the customer service. What I like the most is this NVR being a decent quality system, no buffering in streaming/recording (Dual antenna is a bonus) and no need for an Internet connection, unless you plan to use the mobile app. Cons: 1. Can't rely completely on motion detection as some human movements are getting missed. 2. Wish the Cameras had spot/flood lights that would light up when a motion is detected. With nearly 8 months of continuous usage and no issues so far, I feel that this purchase is worth it.

I really like this system as it has good video resolution with a wider field of view than my older system of 5 years and those had 1080p cameras. The app works versus my old one stopped after one phone update so fingers crossed it will keep performing. The app seems simple which is good and function speed seems to depend on your internet connection. The videos display can be vertical or landscape by rotating and you can zoom to an individual camera by double tapping ans. Zoom in from there with more taps. The speaker seems to work, but I don’t know if I’ll really use it. The signal of these cameras is stronger than my old wifi one as I just replaced camera for camera position and have had no loss in signal or the need of an accessory antenna which I did with my old system. The install was straightforward with a small hiccup of a pre-installed PW but customer service (phone) helped me correct it and then I completed the setup. I hoped I could use the old mounting screw holes but the base is larger here and so I drilled 2 new holes per camera position (4). Each camera needs its own power plug and the video feed is via wifi and I had already worked that out with my previous system. Also, I already had a good monitor for system from my previous one, otherwise you should get a high resolution monitor to take advantage of the cameras’ clarity. For the money, this camera system is hard to beat with the 2 TB hard drive, as long as you don’t mind drilling and running some wires for your house. Only time will tell if this system will last long, but that’s true with anything electronic these days.

I recently purchased this 4 camera 8 channel high definition wireless security camera system from OOSSXX to replace my existing IP 720p OOSSXX system. I was extremely satisfied with the original system, the original system about 4 years old operating 24/7. I started to notice the resolution on the cameras were starting to fade and the 1 TB hard drive was starting to lock up resulting in the system to stop recording after a few days, replacement cameras were no longer available due to obsolesces issues (the hard desktop recorder did not recognize the newer generation cameras) so I decided to upgrade the system with the same brand for ease of installation. It should be noted that during the original installation I purchase additional power wire extensions to reach outlet throughout my house, this helped with concealing the power wires. The HD OOSSXX wireless system was easy to install, the cameras can preset, video instructions were clear, the new camera system also has built in microphones and speakers on each camera. It is a nice option that works well if the camera sits low (6 or 7 feet off the ground and within 5 feet of the reception area) anything further may be difficult to hear the conversation. With both system everything was recorded internally to the hard drive, to me this is a cost savings, I rather this option than paying monthly cloud storage fees. The software to access the system via cell phone works fine, I would recommend utilizing a monitor with detailed reviews. The new OOSSXX HD system has been operating flawlessly for 6-9 months now, I would definitely recommend this system to anyone that wants some added security and peace of mind to their home or small business. This is not the first video system that I have installed, but this one was the easiest to get up and running. The cameras are already paired with the NVR, and work as soon as power is applied. I expected to have problems with wifi signal strength to the outside cameras as my house has a stucco exterior (stucco is applied over wire mesh, so the NVR is sending the signal through a wire cage...not good). The dual antenna cameras work well. I have one camera on each corner of the house, and they all worked. Over 24 hours, only one camera dropped off-line and it was the one most distant from the NVR. In the NVR setup, I made this camera attached (extended) to the nearest camera with good signal, and it has been working well for several days now. Due to other wiring considerations, I could not move the NVR closer to the camera having the problem.) The android app works well, connects quickly, and provides a clear display. The motion alerts in the NVR software work well, and have a sub-category for "humanbody" detection. I am using the hdmi cable connection from the NVR to a large smart TV, and the picture quality is great. Compared to the previous NVR systems I have worked with, the software on the NVR is very well organized and easy to use. I am very happy with this system, and it provides a lot of functionality for a reasonable price.
