It works as described. You can literally cook anything in it. Apart from boiling water, you can use it to "pan fry", cook curry, or omelette, etc. It's non-stick so even if you accidentaly burn something, it's very easy to clean up. The only downside is that it doesn't have a spout. So it spills when you try to pour out from it. Still, it's quite handy for hostelers or backpackers.
