Does it leave stain or glue after taking it off? Does it damage the paint work?

No stain or residue glee,. Tiny bit on one car but gave it a polish and straight off. Used on both my cars, discreet and does the job,. Best fitted while weather is warm though as glew adheres better. Great product all round the car doors!!

Does the grey look ok on a silver car

Yes - I think it would. It's not what I used it for - my car's white - but it has a shiny, high-quality finish that should set off the silver nicely.

I need to protect the edge of a sliding glass door the glass door is 6mm thick do you think this product will be suitable

No I think 6 mm is to thick it’s good as door car protection don’t know if they do a bigger edging strip, just for your info don’t buy coloured it fades, grey and white are ok
