Is the package lined with BPA -- why is there a BPA warning on the package?

While some plastics are still being mfg. with BPA. The BPA warning label on this product does not say that this package contains BPA. However if you want to avoid all BPA transfers to food just don't microwave it. Or don't buy it.

Great seaweed flakes! Used in Beef ramen and miso soup, really helps get that authentic flavor. The pieces are small when dried and really get big when they rehydrate. Crumble them up small otherwise you will have huge sheets floating around.
