Very responsive screen, picture quality is fantastic and it has great sound quality. No complaints. This is actually my second Atoto purchase. I previously had an Atoto A6, I upgraded to the S8 for the faster processor.

I have recently installed a new Atoto S8G2094 Stereo unit in our Country Coach Motorhome. The goal was to achieve improved sound, access to Bluetooth, and Android Auto so that preferred apps could be deployed. The install was challenging, but the Support at Atoto was efficient and prompt and offered the encouragement to push through and complete this complicated installation. The sound is awesome, and unit boots up fast with great control over the multitude of features.

I own a 2005 Chrysler 300, the factory radio recently went out on me. I have been looking at the ATOTO S8G2A74MS for some time, my vehicle has a cambus system which requires additional equipment (PAC RP4-CH11) in order to continue to use the original speakers and steering wheel controls. After installing everything I was unable to hear the caller using the blue tooth. I emailed tech support and received a reply the next day from Lancy. He instructed me to unpair and repair as well as do a reset on the ATOTO. I did just that and the problem still existed. I replied to the email stating that the problem still existed, Lancy replied the next day which stated that audio from the Bluetooth during phone conversations come from the front channels of the stereo. Once I read that I knew what the problem was, although the pac wiring harness requires you to wire all four channels left front right front left rear right rear, for some reason when connecting to the cambus it only uses the rear channels. There is actually audio from all four speakers however there is no front to rear fade. (The audio still sounds awesome) I simply reversed the front to rear wiring and I am now able to use the blue tooth. The unit came with a reverse camera which you can record and go live awesome feature. Was able to configure steering wheel controls to work with the help of the pac system. It comes with a sim feature for data and WiFi, I haven’t used it yet. I use my hotspot via cell phone works great, android auto, YouTube, Spotify, netflix and maps all work great. Can’t wait to try other features, I highly recommend this unit the customer service was awesome so far very pleased with the unit. ATOTO and PAC1 Systems great units. This is an absolute shame. These people make an exceptional product overall, for the money, but they don't seem capable of putting the good stuff together. As a single example; I want a 9 inch display with surround sound and upgradable memory and ROM. Doesn't seem that problematic, but I've been wrong before. I can get , granted it's 4.1, surround sound with a 7 or 10 inch display, but not a 9. I can get everything I want with a 9 inch display except the surround sound. Really? C'mon guys, whadda ya say we get our act together just a bit.

Nachdem es Anfangs Probleme mit der Funktion des Displays gab (kein Defekt, mein Fehler), kann ich nur eins sagen: Das ist das beste Android-Radio ever ever ever. Ich möchte hier keine ellenlange Beschreibung des Radios abgeben, deshalb direkt zum Fazit: Es gibt absolut NICHTS an diesem Radio, was mir auch nur annähernd negativ aufgefallen wäre. Einmal gebootet, startet das Radio nach dem Anlassen des Autos extrem schnell (eigentlich direkt),auch das Display ist super schnell. Der Klang ist einfach nur TOP. Das sind für mich auch die wichtigsten Dinge im täglichen Gebrauch des Radios. Zum Support: Durch das Anfangs erwähnte "Problem" durfte ich den hervorragenden Support des Verkäufers sowie von ATOTO selbst kennenlernen. Dafür an dieser Stelle ein riesen Dankeschön an Lavender von autotolife market und an Yolanda von ATOTO. Zum Schluss noch ein kleines Manko, aber das ist reine Geschmacksache: Ich finde, das Display steht (ganz zurückgeschoben) etwas zu weit vor. Das konnte ich aber lösen, indem ich ein Segment der Befestigungsmechanik entfernt und den Rest ein klein wenig zurechtgebogen habe. Vollkommen easy. Also klare Kaufempfehlung, nur scheint es dieses Modell nicht mehr zu geben. Ob nur temporär weiß ich nicht.

Second achat chez atoto pour une seconde voiture, N'ayant qu'un encadrement 1-din sur ma clio 2, j'ai dû acheter le modèle adapté et franchement, toujours aussi génial! Bénéficier de carplay, android Auto (Et sans fil s'il vous plaît !) dans une voiture de 1998 c'est un pur bonheur. Le son est bon et l'égaliseur pratique! Le mode jour / Nuit fonctionne à merveille, toujours un sans faute. Attention toute fois, vérifiez bien que la radio passe en profondeur ! Je vous conseille tout de même d'acheter ces radios de paire avec un boitier connects2 qui primo restaure les commandes au volant mais également le capteur de frein à main, le jour/nuit, le signal de marche arrière et etc... Pour conclure, vous pouvez acheter les radios Atoto les yeux fermés. Au moindre problème le support est là pour vous aider et les radios sont tout simplement parfaites !

I was searching for a replacement of stock audio system in Renault Scenic for a long time. My list with favorites on Amazon, and other webshop was too long to comment 😁 and at the end I'm glad I bet on Atoto because I really doubt I would get that much but lets start from beginning. The most important factors which were for me: - size 8" with good angles, Check! I have no problem with reading the screen from driver perspective - psychical button, Check! You all know how tricky can be trying to hit something on screen when driving or just hit the homescreen. No problem here - wireless Android auto, Check! After registration on Atoto website you can download Beta firmware which support Android auto wirelessly and it works without a problem so far with my phone on Android 11 - at least 3GB RAM and 32 ROM with micro SDcard slot, Check! System works really flawlessly and after changing animation speed (from 1.0s to 0.5s) and so in known options everyone should know, the responsiveness is TOP notch! - possibility to change colors of button backlight, Check! You can set any RBG color you want - easy straightforward installation process, Check! In the box you have 3 separate connector which probably works in most cases. There's enought information in few manuals included. Of course my setup was more tricky but the blame goes on Renault and their Quadlock ISO connector.. For that you have to buy extra adapter as this is rather normal that it's not included. Its an exceptional from other cars. - "what's in the box", Check! You'll get a GPS antenna, WiFi antenna, external MIC, brackets etc. All you need! - the sound quality, oh Yeah! That part rocks, Check! Honestly I had some expectations becasue before I purchased I've read some reviews and people pointed out that sound quality is really good, and I can now confirm that my self 👌 Beside that radio is loud. Only listening to podcast on YT I have to sometimes hit a bit less from half of scale. When stock radio just 1/8 of the scale to fulfill my needs - available extra accessories, Check! I know its nothing new but believe these ones are different becasue other radios may have too Dash CAM etc. But most of them offer SD quality picture advertising as HD and here the picture from Dash cam is super sharp or my eyesight is to good :) Of course there are some small details I would like to change, I think just two for now: - the stock launcher doesn't have a Car audio vibe, rather that is more like tablet style. For some is appealing for other(me including) not that much. But that'sjuat personal preferences so I don'tcount that as negative.. As you see on the picture you can purchase a decent third party launcher and now its Rocks! - I wish the mechanism connecting the screen to the unit was different design. This one for sure is sturdy and have some adjustments option (other radios are just straight panels) but I miss some constant flexibility when I go on long journey I would like to se a option for simple twisting screen from left/right - top/down so the passenger can watch some movie pointing screen for himself only without need of taking out screws and reposition. That's it for now, for sure I'm open for some questions if anyone has some doubts just ask. I will maybe update that review in the near future so stay in touch. Cheers, Mike

I did a fair bit of research before opting for the Atoto S8. Primarily, I wanted a bigger screen and to be able to see what was playing and view maps, but decided to go for this version, able to run apps without the phone connected, rather than one that relied on another device to function. It was straightforward to connect, particularly as my car is old and doesn't have things like steering wheel controls. The single DIN size means it's a significant upgrade on my old radio, plus I can run my existing reversing camera through it. So far everything is working well and I'm playing with different layouts and launchers. I did also go for the optional steering wheel control, as it has a rotary dial for the volume and it means it's close to hand and is more tactile than pressing up and down buttons. All in all, I'm really pleased.

■用途/購入背景 ・購入品：S8G2094MS(9inch) ・STEPWGN RP1に取付 ・VXM-165VFIからの買い替え ・ナビのアプデ2回付き、ということで新車購入時にオプションで付けた 2016年製Honda純正ナビからの買い替えとして購入。 （結局、2回のアプデは期限付きだったようで、アプデできず） ・ナビ代わりにタブレット設置も行っていたが、 固定が不安定・起動が遅い・バック時にタブレットが邪魔・盗難リスク・ 熱によるバッテリー爆発リスクを考慮し タブレットではなくナビの買い替えを検討。 ・助手席から行き先を決めれるようにビルトインナビに決定。 ・他社も検討したが、コスト・サイズ・機能をもとにatotoに決定。 ・メモリ3GBと悩んだが、5年10年使えた場合を想定し、4GB品である本品を選定。 Honda純正ナビが15万近くに対し、純正ではないとはいえ約1/4の値段で買えることもあり 購入を決意。 ■選定条件(必須) ・GPS付でナビ(Googleマップ、Yナビ)使用可能なこと ・バック時、バックモニタが使えること ・音楽再生が可能なこと ・Bluetooth接続によるスマホからの音楽再生可能なこと ・Wifi接続可能なこと ・非常時用にラジオが聞ける ■選定条件(あれば望ましい) ・Primeビデオなどで暇が潰せる ・サイドモニタを常時表示可能 ・SIMスロット付き ・既存のバックカメラが流用可能なこと ・USBまたはSDによるデータ授受がナビと可能 ・CD/DVDが付いている（本製品は付いてない） ・できれば9inch以上のサイズ ■使用前提条件 ・平日：通勤10km/day、休日：10km/day、連休：1000km/weekほどの使用 ・ナビ本体のSIMスロットは基本的に使わず、Wifiにてネット接続。 車内で子供とかがWifi使う上では、ナビオフ時にWifiが切れるのは厳しく ポケットWifiを使用中。 ・平日はネットとオフライン、連休時のみ適宜パケホーダイ使用 ■良い点 ・アンドロイド →良い意味で、ナビではなくスマホやタブレットである点。 普段使いのスマホがアンドロイドなので、何ら違和感なく使用できた。 iphoneユーザーは、Apple CarPlay使用が前提になるかと。 →Googleプレイストアから、android10対応アプリは何でもDL可能なため 基本的にスマホなどと同じことは何でもできる。 逆を言うと、ナビアプリがandroid10対象外になった場合を想定すると非常に怖い。 ・ナビ機能 →Googleマップ、Yナビなど使用できるため非常に便利。 GoogleマップのオフラインDL機能により、SIMなしでも使用可。 定期的にWifiに接続することで常に最新なのは非常にありがたい。 ・視認性 →7inchから9inchになったこともあり、視認性が大幅に上昇。 ・周囲機器への影響 →大きすぎることもなく、かつ車両機器類の邪魔をすることもないジャストサイズ ・操作性 →そもそも走行中の操作は想定しないため、助手席からの操作に限定。 Bluetoothマウス/キーボードと接続でき、身を乗り出し手を伸ばさなくても 助手席からマウスなどえｄ操作可のため、便利。 ・音質 →想定よりは音質が良い。 イコライザーでカスタマイズが細かくできるため、音にこだわる人でも ある程度は満足できるかと。 少なくとも、VXM-165VFI（音の匠付き）から劇的に悪化したなどはない。 ・起動時間、バック切り替え時間 →ディープスリープからの起動であっても、従来のナビやタブレットと比較して十分早い。 またバック時の画像切り替えについては、ワンテンポ遅れるものの 実用上問題ないレベルである。 ・ステアリングリモコン設定 →ステップワゴンのステアリングリモコン（5ボタン）は、全て登録可能だった。 その他、2500円ほどのステアリングリモコンを購入/接続し 計15ボタンにしたが、1ボタンは信号がバッティングして使えなかったが 計14ボタン使用できたので、利便性が高まった。 ■悪い点 ・取り付けマニュアル →非常に分かりづらい。 本体付属マニュアル、HP、HPの型番検索でのマニュアルと 取付に必要な情報が散らばっており、使用者目線ではない。 ・ユーザーマニュアル →プリアプリから設定に関わるまで、情報が圧倒的に不足。 そもそもマニュアルに「この製品はこのような機能がある」 「このアプリはどういった機能。それを動かすには何が必要」などの情報がなく 試行錯誤を楽しめる人でないと、使用に堪えない。 少なくとも、老人には本製品は扱えない。 ・サポート →どこに連絡すれば良いのかさっぱり分からない。 延長保証を行うサイトに記載のアドレスにメールを送っても届かない、 HPのユーザーフォームから連絡しても、連絡が届いているのかも分からない。 ・本体熱 →アルミダイキャストによるヒートスプレッタ放熱のため、 空気循環しないダッシュボード内での使用では放熱性が低い。 春先でもそこそこの熱をもったので、夏は厳しいかも。 念のため、フレームにPC用の小型ファンを取り付けました。 ・操作性、ユーザーインターフェース →アンドロイドナビ特有のアプリや設定などが、マニュアルも相まって 非常に分かりづらい。 特に、ナビ音声、音楽、フロントカメラ映像あたりの設定が分かりづらく、 未だに試行錯誤鋳 ・カーナビであり、カーナビではない →従来のカーナビとして考えて購入すると、操作性など含めて苦労します。 アンドロイドナビは「車両使用に寄せたタブレット」に近いです。 ・バッテリー上がりのリスク →イグニションオフ後の数分は、待機電流とは言えないレベルの電流が流れている。 正直、起動時間を犠牲にしてでも直ぐにシャットダウンしてほしかった。 もしくは、アプリケーションでの設定で切り替えできるようにしてほしかった。 短時間の普段使いなどを繰り返していると、バッテリーあがりを体験するかと。 自分のように、走行充電器＆サブバッテリーシステムがあれば問題ないか。 ・車両接続に必要な情報が分からない →自分の車のどのコネクタと、本製品を接続すれば何の機能が使えるかが不明確。 車両ごとに異なるので一概に資料化できないのは理解するが、 どの端子が何の機能を持っていて、このような信号が入れば動く、などの 情報はマニュアル化してもらいたい ・車やDIY好きじゃないとムリ →「車のことはディーラーにお任せ、何かあったらディーラーに。餅は餅屋」 というタイプの人、または先物好きでないお歳召した方にはお勧めしません。 Youtubeなどの「誰でもできる、これは簡単取付！便利機能満載！」というのは、 車好き、DIY好き、試行錯誤好きに限定されるかと。 ・設定ファイルが保存できない →各種設定状態を外部機器にバックアップできないため、 何かあった場合に全ての設定をやり直す必要がある。 そんなのナビなら当たり前ではあるが、アンドロイドナビともなると設定量が膨大なため かなり面倒である。 ■気になる点 ・ナビ →Googleマップをスマホで使う場合と、若干インターフェースが異なり 有料道路使わない・ノースアップで斜めではなく完全俯瞰視点など ナビ中の設定がしづらい？できないのが気になる。 （本製品に限らず、アンドロイドナビだとこうなるのか？） ■その他 ・アラウンドビューモニタを使用してみたかったが、 配線が面倒なため使用せず（バックカメラ購入せず）。 ・マクロドロイド＋DIYでやれることがかなり広がります。 いろいろな設定を試行錯誤中ですが、全て理想の設定にできれば 自分オリジナルの快適ナビができあがります。 ■リピ ・悪い点もたくさん書いたが、欠点を補って余りある利点を体験できます。 まだ発展途上かもですし、耐久性も不明なため最終判断はできませんが、 自分は従来のナビに戻ることはもうないです。 正直、素晴らしいです。 ・半導体の進歩は日進月歩、次にナビを買うのが何年後かは不明ですが atoto製品がこのまま進化していくなら、その際は検討候補の第一に入れます。 安くない買い物ですし、上にも書きましたが使い手を選ぶので 十分に検討して買うことをお勧めします。 以下、後日編集 --------------------------------------------------------- ・F-CAMアプリとR-CAMアプリが統合されてDVRアプリとなっている ・AUX、リアカメラ入力はCVBS対応。 フロントカメラ入力は、AHDのみ。
