Matthew Walker Classic Christmas Pudding 400g

My husband was happy to find a British Christmas pudding to share with his coworkers. The flavor is just as he remembered.

I followed the instructions on the package and heated the pudding in a double boiler, and was very pleased with the results! With some hard sauce I made, it tasted totally like the old-fashioned "plum pudding" my grandmother used to make. And I was easily able to reheat leftover servings (the pudding is so rich that a small amount is sufficient at one time) by letting them come to room temperature, and then heating them, covered, in the microwave for 30 seconds -- came out delicious, and nice and hot!

Arrived fresh and tasted good (make yourself a brandy-butter sauce to go on top). I think this is somewhat of an acquired taste, as some of my friends did not like it. I liked it and would buy it again.

Intense holiday pudding. Great with vanilla, chocolate ice cream.

The pudding arrived well packaged and well within best before date. I usually get a Tesco/ Sainsburys/ Waitrose/ M&S own-brand one if I can. I thought I’d try this one this year as it was available and price was reasonable but it’s a lot sweeter than I like and has a slightly gooey texture. I don’t think there was anything “wrong” with it per se, just not a recipe I favor.

Es el clásico Christmas pudding. Flambeado y acompañandolo con la mantequilla al brandy resulta un final de ágape exquisito. Un clásixo así no tiene parangón. Además el tamaño es suficiente para unas 8 porciones aprox. Muy recomendable, tanto si lo conoces como si tienes curiosidad.

Usato per la festa di fine anno del corso di inglese, molto buono. Unica pecca il costo un po' troppo elevato.

Basta seguire le istruzioni sulla scatola e servirlo caldo con un po' di brandy butter per un fine pasto molto Natalizio.

Un vrai "goût d'Angleterre", parfait!! Un "classic" de Noël à ne surtout pas manquer, il est absolument délicieux! Je recommande
