VTech KidiZoom Twist

Bought this as a birthday gift for my 3 year old who was previously just holding up her imaginary camera to snap photos of everything. It's sturdy & well made. Charge lasts for quite a while - up to a couple weeks depending on our use. It doesn't hold a crazy amount of photos, but since my daughter's quite young, I feel just fine deleting all the pictures of her shoes and the floor to make room for a new batch of fun. Love that it comes with games and different settings - some of which she can't quite manage on her own yet, so it's nice that she can kind of grow into this a bit. Overall, it's a great youth-proof camera for a decent price.

My 4 year old daughter loves this camera. She’s been wanting to use my phone for pictures so I got her this and it’s perfect. It’s just the right size and it’s very durable, just getting it open it flew out of the package and hit the hardwood floor and didn’t have a ding on it and worked great. There’s a lot of fun things for her to do also with the pictures and playing games. She does take a lot of random pictures so we go through and delete the bad pictures to free up space but it’s not a problem and I think it holds just enough. Perfect gift!

We've had so much fun with the numerous filters and options included on this camera. Selfies aren't of the best picture quality, but are good enough for a first camera for a child. Definitely rugged and durable. I'm impressed with the amount of installed options and play with it more than she does lol. Ordered a memory card for it, but haven't needed it yet and she has a ton saved on it already. Great purchase I'm glad I made!!

We ordered this for our four year olds birthday. We had used a friends and decided it was the perfect gift and durable enough for our kids. It worked great in the beginning. The photos and games kept the kids entertained and the birthday boy carried it around everywhere. Within the first week the screen developed lines through it, but only during picture mode. We discussed returning it, but were in the middle of a move and never got around to it. Overall we like the gift and are happy with it. Comparing our camera with the friends camera ours must have just been a dud. I wish we would have returned it and replaced it, but I would still suggest the camera to others. Our kids all LOVE it! I would have rated this 5 stars if ours hadn't broken so quickly. Batteries are NOT included. Make sure you pick them up to avoid a very sad child!

My little one has been playing with his older cousin's Kidizoom camera for awhile, so we decided he was old enough for his own. He was SO happy to get his, and immediately started taking pictures of himself, us, the snow, the cat, and was very proud to take his own pictures. He quickly figured out how to flip the camera back & forth to take forward facing pictures or selfies, and gets a big kick out of it. It's been dropped twice, and no issues, it's very durable. Great gift for little photographers!

Updated: may 2019. Daughter and son have been using these two cameras on and off for 6 months. Still works great, despite multiple drop by my 3 year old. Batteries got drain quickly, especially with flash and games, so I tried using rechargeable ones. However, I'm not sure is it due to the no name brand rechargeable batteries I bought, the purple camera doesn't recognize it! But it works on the other blue vtech camera. Weird. Initial review: I bought this version despite lesser reviews because my girl wanted the purple one. It seems alot of concern in the older VTech camera doesn't exist here. There are batteries included in here. My kids only know how to capture by looking at the screen, and there isn't any noticeable lag. You can look back at the picture taken by the playback button without going through the home screen. The games doesn't seems that interesting to my 4 year old, she tried a few times and gave up on it. She had not been exposed to any video games before, so I thought she might be more engrossed in it. No frustration towards any buttons and everything works fine and as expected. I'll update this review if anything happens later.

My son received this for a Christmas present.... needless to say he wouldn't let go of it for the first three days - even sleeping with it in his bed to make sure his sister couldn't use it. The games are fun, the quality of the photos are not some retena snaps, but well WORTH the money. You can add borders to the picture to look like a diver, an animal or like your on a boat, etc. Many fun days in the past and I'm sure this item won't have many days without use!

I got this camera for my almost 3 year old son and it was a huge hit! He has played with it non-stop since Christmas, so much so that he's worn out the batteries! I love being able to see the pictures he takes and the different effects he adds to them. There are so many filters and special effects you can add to pictures, it's a great camera for kids!

The battery inside the camera is leaking & damage the battery holder!! So disappoint and believe it is not a new set.

Excellente qualité. Se tient bien avec les poignées pour les petites mains d’enfants. Facile de naviguer dans le menu, espace de photos restreint mais on peut y ajouter une carte mini SD et donc, ça ne dérange pas l’utilisation du produit. Je le recommande

Easy for our 3 year old to use

I bought this for my 6 year old grandson moor Xmas. He tells me it takes photos, video records, and voice records. He loves it.
