Overall, I like this briefcase it’s a little bit heavy, but it looks really nice. The materials all feel nice and strong when you touch them, and it feels like a decent value for the money. I will say material, durability, and quality are where I feel like it takes a little bit of a hit. My husband didn’t pull very hard on the interior pocket, he was trying to put something in it and test it to see how it worked, and the material tore. (He says he wasn’t pulling that hard at all.) It seems to be a relatively lightweight material made from plastic inside and out, so it is kind of fragile if you get it at the right angle. I can see this tearing on the outside over the padding if you hit a corner on your desk too hard. Overall, I don’t think it’s a very durable material for a briefcase. It feels very cheap and fragile.That said all of the materials that make up the handle the locks and the hinges are all nice high-quality and have a really great click to them. The briefcase is also still usable with the tear on the inside, it just won’t hold anything that has any weight to it. While I was recording my video for this review, more parts of it fell apart, so I really can’t recommend this briefcase. It’s just made with too cheap of materials.

Papers have their own area, and smaller items don't end up rolling around at the bottom. The inside feels practical rather than crowded.

That said, the aesthetic is underwhelming and feels a bit dated in a way that doesn't quite reach a classic or vintage status. The hardware is particularly disappointing, as the locks and latches have a lightweight and a high-gloss finish that looks somewhat gaudy. It is a very functional piece for a purely professional setting where you need to keep files organized, but it lacks the refined craftsmanship of a more expensive leather case.

I picked this up for commuting, carrying my laptop, and bringing to professional business meetings, and it has been a great fit for that. The leather has a very smooth, premium feel in person, and it looks polished without being flashy. It gives off that “I have my life together” energy, which is always helpful, even on mornings when that may be questionable. The storage layout is excellent. There is plenty of room for my laptop, folders, a notebook, and the usual daily essentials without feeling like everything is crammed in. The lock works smoothly and actually feels useful for keeping documents a little more secure, not just like a decorative extra. The handles are sturdy, the stitching is precise, and the zippers move smoothly, so the overall build quality feels top-notch. It was a little stiff at first, but it is already breaking in nicely. Even loaded with a laptop and files, it is comfortable and easy to carry, and it does not feel too bulky for daily use. Overall, it definitely met my expectations and is a solid choice for any professional who wants a stylish, functional briefcase that looks the part.

This briefcase is so sharp. I have a teenage son who is determined to be come an attorney and prefers to carry the briefcase instead of a backpack. It tickles me so. But he approves it and loves the cognac color. It fits his laptop and a few notebooks and folders. The locks snap and work well.
