Kills them good

Kit comes with everything you need to start shooting bugs and oh man is it fun! I initially got this to shoot at carpenter bees. This doesn't do the best at annihilating them but if you hit them right they will be stunned and you can use a tennis racket or stick to crush them. What this does annihilate is other bugs smaller and less armored than the carpenter bee. Wasps? ANNIHILATED. Flies? ANNIHILATED. Yellow Jackets? ANNIHILATED. Only caveat is you do have to get a close. Obviously you can't shoot from across the room but I haven't had an issue getting close enough as the gun is pretty big so with an outstretched arm your reach will be more than enough to not spook a landed bug before you get the shot off. This is a great design with bright colors. Safety lock works. Reloading is a snap and putting the Co2 in is easy as a twist.

We have (had?) a scorpion problem in our house. We have professionals come and do regular treatment but still see them outside on the walls often and occasionally get them inside. They’re bark scorpions. They’re venomous. They’re disgusting. They’ve also been known to take a good whack and be ok enough to scurry off to hide somewhere. Just an overall major source of anxiety that has left me with too many sleepless nights. The final straw was a few weeks ago when one came crawling out of the ceiling vent right above me in the bathroom. NOPE. Something had to be done. I had to go on the offensive. I had seen the og bugasalt but knew I’d need something more powerful for scorpions. I couldn’t add the shred-er to my cart fast enough when I found it. My experience a little over a week in: This might sound crazy but I’m out here having a great time with this thing. It has turned a legit source of anxiety into a GAME. I went from being terrified to a scorpion hunter real quick. My wife and I go out with UV lights every night and tear these disgusting little things apart. I can’t really tell how great my aim is because I’m always shooting in the dark, but a decent shot from around 6 feet definitely gets their attention, and a follow up shot really puts a hurtin on em. They’re usually barely moving after that but I like to give em one more just because. This is all at 6 feet, maybe even a little farther. If you can get 3 feet or closer, one shot is for sure taking them out. I mean… they’re still getting two regardless. F*** these things. I like the prefilled cartridges so I don’t have to mess with refilling or anything. I was also concerned with it being co2 powered that it might be too loud, considering I’d almost always be shooting it at night. That didn’t turn out to be an issue though and I’m not at all worried about potentially disturbing any neighbors with it. If you have a problem that requires a little extra firepower, here is your solution.

Awesome fun

Item was fun until it broke after just a week. Just stopped shooting. Even when it worked, it was not as powerful as advertised. Was using it against carpenter bees but it really just knocks them down if you hit them about 6 inches away, then they get up and fly away unless you shoot 2 or 3 more times after that. Was still a lot of fun at first and it would be worth it if it was (at max) $30. But for $100, poor execution and hardly enough power. Not to mention still having to buy more ammo and CO2 cartridges. Better off rigging a paintball gun. Nonetheless, good company with a fun niche. I own one of their shotguns too and it is good quality and works as advertised. Not to mention cheap to refill. Still pricey for what it is but understandably so because of it being a smaller company. This Shred-Er revolver however is pushing it. I would also like to mention that Amazon has it listed that (Most customers keep this item) but that is because IT IS NONREFUNDABLE.
