50 BIC Double Edge Razor Blades Chrome Platinum

I usually use Astra Superior Platinum blades or Gillette Nacets. I bought these because I was curious. I'm using them in a Leaf Thorn SE razor. (you snap the blades in half) I haven't tried the Bics in a vintage DE razor yet. I have not cut myself with them yet, but I feel like I'm always on the verge of getting cut. After 2 or 3 shaves, the blade is settling down now and feeling smoother. And Bic easily cuts the whiskers on the end of my bony chin, which are coarse and the skin is looser. The Astra and Nacet blades struggle with that. I like the blades. I might buy them again. First I want to see how they do in a milder razor. I am no longer curious to try Feather blades; these are sharp enough :-) Update: I finally tried the Bic blades in my ancient Gillette razor and WOW. Best shave ever. I'm glad I gave these 5 stars when I first reviewed them even though I was not really happy with the shave in the Leaf Thorn razor. All the rest of the blades will be used in the Gillette, and if I ever run out I will buy more. The Leaf and Schick Krona razors really like the Astra and Nacet blades, but the Gillette with a Bic blade is a better shave. (I bet they would be good in the Leaf Twig too.)

Great if you like your blades very sharp. In my opinion these are on par with Feather blades that cost much more. You may not like these if you prefer blades that tend more towards average sharpness. I think they are phenomenal and a great deal as well.

These are good quality and sharp blades just not for me. My skin just doesn’t agree with them but I see why people would recommend them.

I have really coarse and 'tough as wire' facial hair which can destroy high priced, multi-bladed disposable razors in an instant. For that reason I basically hated shaving, that is until I started using old fashion double-edge safety razors. I picked up a bundle of these blades a while back and they do a fantastic job shaving down the wires growing out of my skin. They extremely sharp and seem to hold up well, allowing me to get 3 or 4 good shaves out of a blade before needing to replace it. Compared to the cost of disposable razors, these will save you a small fortune. Maybe enough to buy a top shelf bottle of champagne to celebrate such a fantastic shave and the money you saved.

I tried these blades with my Henson AL13 and they work really well. They’re smooth, don’t cause cuts or irritation, and they last longer than I expected. Great option for a quick, comfortable shave.

Used in a shavette and I have sensitive skin. They’re great because even with a light touch they take scruff off cleanly and without pulling. I found they worked best on room temp skin with little shave cream.

These blades are really good quality blades. That provide an amazing close shave and last 4 good shaves. I have coarse beard hair so I don’t push my blades beyond the 4 shave mark. But I will say these in my opinion are every bit as good as feather on the sharpness and I have found they actually perform better on the following shaves and out last the feathers. I only get 3 nice shaves with feather blades . These bic chrome platinum blades are daily go 4 shaves. Will buy again and highly recommend .Best part is all this good performance and a fraction of some of the bigger names in double edge blades cost.

I tried at least 15 different brands of safety razor blades over 2 years. Bic was by FAR the best. Never a nick or cut. Very sharp and high quality. They are cheap enough that I never use a side more than once.

Poco filo, irritan muy fácil.

Had my first shave with this blade today. Managed to get a close shave with it. I scored a few nicks on my neck, but, the technique should be to blame for that rather than the quality of the blade. I like that there is no glue/wax on the blade itself, that can get on the razor housing it.

They are very sharp ! Very good blade

Shaves up to 4 shaves! Nice smooth close shave. Made in the beautiful country of Greece! Will definitely be part of my everyday shaving routine.

Too rough for me. My face felt like it was scraped after using. They are sharp but perhaps they are too agressive.
