Coyote is a really good series with beautiful artwork. It is a BL manga so the story might not be for everyone, but if you like the genre you will love the books. I have received both volumes as a present and I recommend buying them together, as the second one helps shed some light on the character’s pasts and adds a more in depth plot to the story, whereas vol. 1 is more on the smutty side. I can’t wait for the 3rd volume to be released in the English edition! Love everything about it, Ranmaru Zariya’s style is great and I definitely recommend it if you consider getting it.

I really enjoyed this manga. It was beautifully illustrated; I loved the use of colour for the first few pages. The story was unique and interesting and the author did a good job of creating compelling characters in such a short story. I will definitely be buying the next in the series.

This is one of the very first yaoi mangas I purchased when I first started getting into manga, and I’m glad I did. Loved this story so much. The character design and art is so pleasing to the eyes that I’d find myself rereading pages and even whole scenes just to catch more of the details. Zariya draws both male and female bodies so well, and all of their characters' expressions and facial details are diverse. Coyote alone has some of my favorite expressions I’ve seen so far in a manga, and (no doubt unfairly) I find myself comparing other yaoi mangas to this one when it comes to how much I enjoy how the bodies are drawn, and how the mangaka draws the explicit scenes. I loved that immediately we’re into the heart of the story with our two main characters meeting, and probably even better, the sex scenes are right there waiting for you. While the plot does move along and you discover more about the setting and how werewolves fit into it, this first volume focuses more on Coyote and Marleen’s budding relationship. Plot points were a little predictable, but that didn’t make it any less enjoyable for me. Forbidden love with a werewolf in heat thrown in to make it explicit definitely has me as a fan. This was the first work I’ve read by Zariya and I feel it was a wonderful entry into not only the beautiful work they create, but to yaoi as a genre. Coyote and the world he’s living in has me hooked and ready for future volumes.

A capa é um pouco mole, mas a qualidade das páginas é ótima. O estilo de desenho de Ranmaru Zariya é um espetáculo a parte!
