Saves the environment and your $$
These work! I've found the easiest way to refill your plug-ins was just to remove the old wick and pour through the hole (I've torn myself and the plastic up trying to the the top pieces off the Air Wick plugs). The new wick will fit right back in. I use these with Glade and Air Wick. They are a little bit longer than Air Wick's wicks, but it still works. I made the mistake of adding grape seed oil and my essential oils together and that did not work at all. The wick wont absorb an OIL, so I've just filled it half with essential oil and half filtered water. Yes, they separate, but the scent still comes through.

Best fragrance diffusers
I use these to make my own homemade air wick plug in wall fresheners. They work great and diffuse the fragrance into the air very well. If you're interested in trying this, these are the only diffusers I buy. I just wash out a used air wick glass bulb, remove the used diffuser, & put in a mixture of 75% dowanol dpma (can find on perfumer's apprentice website) and 25% fragrance oil(can find on many websites; candle science, the flaming candle, midwest fragrance co, etc). Then put one of these diffusers in the cap and pop on the glass bulb. I know this is a lot of unnecessary information but I tried all the viral Homemade air wick tricks and none work. Got these instructions from a professional fragrance supplier and they work as well or better than store bought air wick wall plug ins. If anyone is looking at these diffusers to try to make their own air wicks, try this method.

Okay
They're okay. I think these are better for long term use, but because of that they aren't super absorbent and some scents don't come through as easily or strongly. They are sturdy tho. I like humidifier sticks better because they're more absorbent and release the scent a lot faster and stronger. They don't last as long as the PET ones, but the humidifier sticks seem to come in larger packs for less so it's much less expensive to replace them in a short amount of time

Worthless as a plug in wick
Initially worked fine. After 48 hours it had swollen from .25 to .455 inch, so much the capillary action causing wicking virtually ceased. Vaporization went from 1.1 g/day down to to under .5. Would not recommend. See photos. See your full review

Awesome item
This is literally one of the best orders I've made. Use them to refill my plug ins and make my own essential oil mixes for them! I will be buying so many more of these. They came in a timely manner and had no problems with the order.
