65555 Clear Polycrylic Water-Based Protective Finish Gloss, Quart, 1 Quarts (Pack of 1)

I love this product for finishing off my painted wood art projects. It seals my painted designs giving them a protective coating and I love the high gloss shine. There is no overpowering smell so I can use it indoors at my studio work table which is right next to my kitchen and living room and still get no complaints from the family. The product is fast and easy to use since it is water based and all I need do to clean up is run my brush under the faucet for a few minutes. A coat of this dries super fast allowing me to finish a project with several coats in a day. But for most projects I find that one coat is enough to give a piece a decorative shine. One word of caution to crafters however, if you use any of the oil based "paint pens" on a project you need to add those paint pen features AFTER you have poly-ed the piece. If you try to polycrylic over your paint pen designs it can break down and smear the paint pen colors.

Best poly out there NO SMELL, takes an extra coat or two but the lok is great and no worries about house smelling for days.

I am always so impressed with how well they look and hold up to the harsh sun and weather. This sealant is awesome. Comes in matte, satin and gloss. I use satin on my garden lizards and gloss on all my snakes. The amazing quality. Super coverage. Rally hold up well outdoors on rocks too. I have a desert scene and use this on all my repainted garden critters and reptiles. Protects them from fading. Works very well on garden statues. Most of mine are resin, but I also have a cement life size rattle snake and the colors make him pop. So much that at first my mail carrier would not come close to it. It does look realistic, so I can see why she wasn’t sure about him yet. But she says now she looks forward to seeing him as well as all my reptiles. He even brought his family over to see it. I live in Kentucky and miss the high desert we use to live in. So my rock garden with all the desert critters makes me feel at home. Supper easy to use. Clean up is also extremely easy. Odorless too, so I use it in the house on cold days. It is the most comparable sealant I have ever used
