Great slow cooker. Does everything as expected.
This is a great slow cooker. It does everything I expect from it and is easy to use. Be sure to get a quality carrier and/or case. Hamilton Beach makes a pretty good one. I guess the only thing I could ask for is maybe beep or notice when it is done but that honestly can be easily compensated for by running a timer on your smart phone.

A great slow cooker
This slow cooker replaces an ancient smaller one with no bells or whistles. It is a game changer with all it can do. It is easy to program for time and temperature (read the instruction book first), with a temperature probe to keep track of how the food is progressing. With the probe and water it can even be used as a sou vide bath. It will can revert to keep warm mode when cooking is complete. The size is generous with plenty of room for a chuck roast for pot roast. The pot lifts out of the base for easy cleaning, and can even be used in the oven or put in the refrigerator. The lid has a rubber gasket and can be clamped down with the built-in clamps to allow it to be transported full without spills. Plus, I got a good deal on Amazon. I'm very happy with it.

Love the temperature probe
The reviews all good! Others have mentioned most features but we find the built-in temperature probe is invaluable! We have had a week and had amazing pork shoulder 2 ways...one half to slice, the other tender pull. Next is a turkey he hid away from bargain Thanksgiving recipes. A great purchase. Bring on winter!

A huge upgrade from my old crock pot
I love crock pots, and my favorite thing to make is a delicious roast.. I’ll slow cook a roast for about 10 hours with sweet potatoes or little red potatoes, carrots, and a chopped-up onion. It’s one of my favorite meals to make. Sadly, I broke my old crock pot, which was a pretty basic one. I came across this Hamilton Beach and absolutely love it. My favorite feature is the temperature probe. The lid has a small opening where you can insert the probe and monitor the internal temperature of the meat without having to keep taking the lid off. It even comes with the temperature probe, which is a huge upgrade from my old crock pot. I also really like the clamps that lock the lid down tight. Overall, I think this one looks better, has way more features, and honestly seems to cook better than my old one. My old crock pot was good, but this is definitely an upgrade. I love this thing. If you like making roasts or slow cooking meat, the temperature probe feature alone makes it worth it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Works well, but could be easier to use
The slow cooker itself works well, but all the buttons and functions make it more difficult to use than it should be.

Improved version of an old favorite standby slow cooking method for an absolutely guaranteed.
And old slow method to make a tender pot-roast with a twist. The temper probe tells you that the roast internal temperature is tracking at different settings low, medium, and high. This feature helps determine what's going on as the probe measures the progress. Yes, I would recommend this product to anyone wishing to check on the cooking progress without opening the top lid. An added feature is the locking lid used ONLY FOR TRANSPOTING the entire crock without spillage to a family or neighbor's home when desired. Absolutely guaranteed success.

Love this Crock pot
I love this crock pot. Works as it should. Use it quite often. Has a warming feature that remains after timer is done. Thermometer is an added bonus.

Temperature and travel clips
I am absolutely happy with this better version of the traditional electric slow cookery. The temperature probe is a game changer. No more guessing and over cooked food! The only wish I have is that the temperature was adjustable to say 205 degrees so that I can get a chuck roast to the golden temperature of 205 degrees for shredding. For those who have mentioned that the clips for travel get in the way or that they'd never use them, one can simply pull the metal clip apart at the plastic and remove them to store when in not use or throw them away.

The king of Slow Cookers... just ask my cardiologist...
set it up for your dream cook recipe and go to bed... your cook is done to finishing temp and waiting in the morning for your finishing sear or broil moves for lunch or dinner... I'd recommend you cross check new devices for accuracy of temperature and location with an accutemp but overall my device has been quite accurate within a few degrees and hits the temp point and reacts with a hold temp or shuts off according to your simple adjustments... It's unusual lid and its rubber seals beg to be damaged by a cook who careless like me... replacement parts are relatively expensive but the device overall is an incredible game changer if you like to slow cook long durations with a high degree of control... just treat this one with care and you will be amazed at the convenience, ease of use, and results.... if you have heart issues be sure to avoid briskets, pork butt, and chuck roast... this device makes it too easy and the results are too tasty not to repeat regularly

110 Volts
Assuming (apparently naively) that any electrical appliance that I buy from amazon.co.uk would be compatible with the national power ratings (230V), I simply found a universal plug converter and plugged it in. And of course, I blew up the machine (a loud pop). Probably I blew up one of the capacitors (I could not see any fuse circuitry but my electrical engineering days are way behind me so might have missed it) and it is fixable. So anyone who is planning to purchase this equipment once it becomes available, please bear in mind that you will also have to invest for a powerful transformer (around £100).

Easy to Use and Clean, but the Outer Shell Feels Thin
Easy to Use and Clean, but the Outer Shell Feels Thin I purchased this Hamilton Beach slow cooker in April 2026, and I’ve been using it often since then. Overall, I really like it. Quality & First Impressions: The slow cooker is easy to use, and I like having the digital controls. It has also been easy to clean after cooking. Performance in Daily Use: I’ve been using it regularly, and so far it has worked well for what I need. I keep it on my counter, so it is always ready when I want to use it. Things to Note: One thing I think could have been better, especially for the price, is the outside shell. It feels very thin. Since I keep the slow cooker on my counter and do not move it around much, this has not caused a problem for me, but I expected the outside to feel a little more substantial. Rating: ⭐ 4 stars — I really like it and it has been working well for me; I took off one star because the outer shell feels thinner than I expected for the price. We will update over time as we continue using it and see how it holds up. — Reviewed by Hibiscus, homeschooling mom rooted in presence Simple, honest, presence-based reviews

So fancy!
I love this! I love the temp thermometer built in and the cook to a certain temp setting! It’s so easy! It’s a good sized croc pot, easy to use, and has so many fun settings! I haven’t done too much in this yet, as I got it for Christmas and then had a baby so I haven’t been cooking tons! But the times I have used it it’s been great! I also love the seal feature! If you do use the locks to seal it shut just be sure not to do it while the food is cooking! The heat pressurizes and can cause glass lid to explode/shatter. (I saw this online; so don’t know personally but won’t take my chances! 🤪)
