Quick and Tasty Pho!
My Review of Snapdragon Instant Pho:I love Pho.The problem is the nearest Pho place to my house is at least 30 minutes away.So today for lunch, I m having Snapdragon brand instant Pho.I purchased 4- 2.1 ounce packets from Amazon for $11.88.Each packet has dehydrated rice noodles, a dehydrated veggie packet and one Oil Flavoring packet.I placed the noodles and veggies in an 8 oz bowl, while my tea kettle boiled the water. You can also microwave it. I chose to boil water.Next, add your boiling water and the flavor oil and stir.In about 2 minutes the noodles are nice and soft.I like spice, so I added some Sriracha sauce. Now the review:Is it as good as restauarnt Pho? NoBut its pretty darn tasty Pho, and it satisfies the craving.I'm full and only consumed 280 calories so that is good for my weight loss goals. The next packet I make, I'll add some thin sliced Boars Head London broil from my publix deli. Also, some sliced onions and a fresh squeezed lime would enhance the flavor experience. That said, If you're craving some quick Pho, this is a great alternative to a long drive to a restaurant and not nearly as expensive.Happy Slurping!

My go to choice: best flavor & lower sodium.
I have tried many brands of packaged Phōs. This Snapdragon reduced sodium, beef flavored version is far-and-away my favorite. I usually add a few thin slices of roast beef or steak (if I have some available) to the cooking, a few drops of Sriracha (I like it more picante) after it is heated, and - of course - the cilantro and bean sprouts topping whenever available, per traditional Phō.I also prefer this package version WITHOUT a plastic bowl because it reduces plastic waste, avoids any possible plastic contamination, takes up less closet space, and costs a little less. Making the Phō in my own ceramic bowl is just as easy.Do note that NO Phō is ever a truly low sodium product. This version does reduce the typical content about 50%. Most Phōs (including the Snapdragon versions sold at Costco) contain at least 1500mg sodium, or about 3/4 of a recommended daily maximum! That much salt is NOT heart healthy. This version still has about 800mg sodium per package. With additions, this may be about 900mg; still close to half a daily allowance, but manageable.

Doesn’t taste like pho, but still pretty tasty.
I was surprised that these were actually not bad at all. Great for a quick in between meal or snack. Silky broth with a nice flavor, and the noodles are really good to be instant.

Loves these. Easy to make, good flavor. Good price. Would be nice if there were other flavors (I know there's a chicken flavor).

A good comforting bowl of Pho? But don't want or can't drive the hour away to get it? No worries!!! This Pho is delicious and restaurant quality at home. As is or elevated by adding some of your own special touches ... this is the taste and quality you are craving.
