Why did you pick this product vs others?: Works well for what I needed. Suction hold well. Ease of installation: Takes two seconds to install Sturdiness: Holds up well for me to rest my foot on while shaving my legs.

These bars would not stick to the tile. I would stick them to the wall the night before for the shower in the morning and they would be on the floor without anyone touching them. I was afraid to allow anyone to put any weight on them. I would make sure they were installed properly and they would still unstick.

I bought these to replace some shorter grab bars I had purchased earlier. They're great. They have very strong suction cups and a textured middle section which helps to ensure a good grip. I definitely recommend them.

I have a completely clean shower. I have flat tiles and I rent so I cannot by grab bars that require drilling. These come in pairs. However, only one sticks and the other keeps falling off. One seems to be defective. The other one works great. I don't want to return or exchange it. I can only stand on one foot and I definitely need at least one bar to hold on to.

Make sure you wet the suction cups when installing or they will not set

These were installed on flat tile, walls cleaned with industrial cleaner and and still came off the wall under 2 wks causing hospital visit for elderly. Do NOT recommend. They are supposed to prevent falls, not the case. The only thing I can say positive, is good construction because it did not break when it hit the floor.
