I've recently been enjoying Heineken, and it remains one of my top choices for a refreshing beer. If you visit review sites such as Ratebeer you'll find that beers like this don't get high scores. Partially because they tend to come from one of two huge global brewing conglomerates. If you put that to one side, what you have here is a perfectly acceptable lager that does not include rice or maize in the ingredients: just water, barley and hops. That's a bonus point from me, right there. From a purist's perspective, the head is variable (sometimes frothy, sometimes not) and the lacing is minimal to nil. There's not much aroma and you don't get stand-out flavours, mouthfeel and all that good stuff. But this lager isn't competing at that end of the market. At this sort of budget price it's a winner: very refreshing on a hot day, uncomplicated, and not so strong that after two cans you're singing songs about goblins. Pale gold, unfussy, satisfying ... and amazing value for money. Scored accordingly. (If you were doing a blind taste against craft ales, Belgian lagers and the like, this would get 1 or 2 and they would get 4 or 5. But for what it is, it's 4.)

Product is good! Delivery came a day early so we weren’t in! Left on front door step in sun in full view- alcohol!!! Says it was handed to resident which sadly is a lie as neither of us are here and our door camera confirms it was just dumped. It could easily have been stolen or kids could have got hold it. 2 cases of beer! Dreadful.
