Life changing.
I purchased a regular pair of crocs this spring, and I haven’t worn any other shoes since. Since it’s getting colder, I decided to purchase these lined crocs. First I should talk about sizing. I wear a size 8 1/2 and the description says If you wear a half size, to go with the smaller whole size, so in this case I’d get an 8 women’s, 6 men’s. However, my feet are chubby and I was scared to get the 8, so I got the 9 women’s 7 men’s size. I am glad I did because it fits me perfectly. So, if you have wide/ chubby feet and wear a half size, go with the bigger size, rather than the smaller size. With sizing out of the way, Here are my thoughts: 1. They feel like slippers! I was going for that. Crocs are inherently comfortable, but the lining in these makes them feel like an incredible pair of slippers. However, they are MUCH sturdier than slippers and can be worn anywhere. 2. They don’t need to be “broken in” like other crocs. With my original pair of crocs, I had to break them in and wear them with socks for a while because the grips on the sole bothered my feet and gave me blisters for a short time, until I broke them in. These however, feel like a pair of slippers and with or without socks do not feel strange to wear. 3. Gives you that extra support and warmth. I like to wear my crocs everywhere, whether I’m walking my dog, going to the store, or well, that’s all I really do during quarantine. With crocs, they are a very minimal shoe and don’t give you that support that a tennis shoe would when you’re walking on hard pavement, however, these lined crocs give me a little more support and protection. Obviously they add extra warmth as well, which is needed in the colder months. 4. Can be worn in any weather. I like to wear my regular crocs to take my dog out, but when it’s cold and rainy, it gets a little cold. It was snowing/ raining the other day, and even in the wet, mushy grass, my lined crocs kept my feet dry, warm and protected. I was concerned they’d get wet and I’d start feeling it, because with regular crocs obviously the water gets through the holes, and makes your feet wet and cold, but these lined crocs kept my feet absolutely dry. I wouldn’t recommend soaking them in water, however, if it’s snowy or raining, you can wear these without worry. 5. They are CUTE! I love how these look like the original crocs, and how they come in the original colors. I got the pastel purple and they’re ADORABLE! 6. If you like standard crocs, get a pair of lined ones! You won’t regret it. Even if you live in a tropical climate where it’s never cold, still get these. They are so comfortable and feel like actual slippers, but look and function like crocs. I’m obsessed!

My favorite of all time!!!
This style was my first introduction to Crocs. I am not into Croc clogs and I always associated Crocs with just clogs, therefore I never gave their brand a second look. Well, when I first noticed theses sandals online, I liked the look of them (easy slip on, no fuss, cool design) and decided to give them a try. I didn't even notice they were sold by Crocs at first. I was so glad I gave them a chance and ordered them, because as you can tell from my pic, I wear them all the time. They are my favorites ! I bought my first pair of the black ones back in March. I wear a 6.5 shoe and ordered 6. I wore them all day. They fit true to size and keep my feet cool ( no slippy foot bed due to the tiny dots helping air to circulate) The little dots on the footbed feel good, they are like little massagers. Whether I am out walking the dog or just walking around the house, they are so easy and comfortable to wear. I have tile floors and wearing these in the house cushions the impact on my heels on the tile all day. ( I've heard this is why many medical people love the clogs, because they are walking on hard surfaces all day too.) Also, I like how these add just a little bit of height for me, without looking or feeling like I have high heels on. (The extra height helps me reach another shelf in the kitchen cabinet too...) Another thing that makes these great is how they can get wet and don't stay wet, or get dirty and can just be rinsed off. Walking early in the morning I am constantly walking around sprinklers and puddles and getting them dirty. No problem, I just wipe them off. During the summer I used them around the pool and there is NO deck slipping. However, I do NOT suggest wearing them IN the actual pool. Whatever they're made wasn't meant to be water logged. Why you ask I know this? Because I have forgotten and stepped in the pool with them on several times. I forget to take them off, because they don't even feel like I have shoes on. They get squishier when totally water logged, but do dry pretty fast. I liked the sandal so much, I went back and bought them in two other colors. The pink is a soft color pink, which looks great with blue jeans, white jeans or shorts. I also got what I call the "nude" color. It's just right to blend with my skin tone when I don't know what color sandal to wear or when I want my sandals to just blend in without clashing with what I'm wearing. Later in the summer I also bought another black pair, because I wear them so much (miles a day). I just wanted to make sure I had a pair for the future, before they were sold out or discontinued. I thinking I might be back for the dark blue ones later... :) Funny story, but not. In the summer I got bit on my foot by a red fire ant (a RIFA). I had to call TelaDoc because my foot was so swollen I couldn't get it into my sandal and it was getting worse. The TelaDoc wanted me to send her a picture of my foot. When I did they were concerned about the stripe I had across my foot. I had to explain that was not from the bite, that was from me wearing the same type of sandals everyday LOL...just proof how much I love wearing them. After having so much success with this pair of Crocs, I started exploring their brand more. I came across the Crocs Huarache Wedge Sandal. They're colorful and the price was excellent ($13.99). I ordered a pair and I am very pleased with them too... so much so I ordered a pair for my Cousin as a gift. She was soooo surprised they were Crocs too. I said IKR! Thanks Crocs for the new designs, please keep them coming. Your clogs might have gotten your company started, but these new designs will take your company to the next level with new returning customers like me!

The heel strap hinge button consumes width at the ankle
The shoe has a wide toe box. At the hinge where the hell strap is connnected securely to the shoe, what feels like a snap is very hard and causes the shoe to narrow and harden exactly at that connection. For most people, the hardness will not be a problem or even noticed. For people like myself with foot sensitivity, the hardness may be a problem if they have wide feet and an injury in those areas. Let me clarify a little more in the hope you will make a better decision based on your situation: The shoes fit perfectly in the toebox where I usually have trouble --- until ---both ankle bones in one foot were fractured in a fall at home. For the past year, I have been struggling to find shoes that fit my toes, my arch, and my ankles. I now have screws and a big piece of metal on one side of my ankle and a pin on the other side of my ankle -Bi-Malleolar fracture repair. If you have a similar issue with your ankle and a wide foot, you can try this shoe but don't force yourself to wear a shoe that hurts. What I liked: 1) The faux fur padded felt so soft and pleasant. 2) The arch felt fine on my uninjured foot. My injured foot has a fallen arch so I would still need arch support. 3) Toe box was spacious. 4) The heel strap fit over my heel without being too tight. 5) I did not need to size up. What I did not like: 1) The shoe in my size isn't pretty. 2) The attachment for the heel strap caused the shoe on my injured (but healed) foot to rub and agitate the sensitive metal plate and pins. I did not wear the shoe -- only tried it on. The foot hurts most of the time because of the severe twisting at the time of the fall, so I have a high level of pain tolerance. The pins and metal plate; however, are another situation, so I work hard not to agitate the metal that is rubbing against muscles and tendons beneath the skin. Yeah, I know, not pleasant but potential buyers may have a similar situation and need to know what to expect so they are happy with their purchase. Should I have gone up a size? The length was just fine and so was the toe box. I think a bigger size would be more of a problem when walking. If sitting in a wheelchair, maybe a size up would have been fine and kept my toes warm. I don't want to risk another fall. If your ankles are more narrow or you do not have ankle sensitivity, you should do just fine with this shoe. My uninjured foot liked the shoe just fine. I seamlessly returned the shoes in the same condition that I received them to Amazon. Amazon has many ways to return items purchased through its Prime program. Thank you Amazon for this option. If I was unable to walk, for $6, the item could have been picked up at my door. Walmart penalizes me for returns. Amazon doesn't. I'd rather pay a little more for better service than pay a little less and be treated like a criminal. Walmart reviews are not like Amazon reviews. The Amazon reviews are much more reliable now that Amazon is analyzing for fake reviews. I can usually read through the lines of an Amazon review. Sellers will always have at least one bad or not so good review of a product. When they don't, I've learned to be suspicious. I would like if this shoe was a little bit wider where the heel strap is connected to the shoe. I could have padded that connection point with moleskin padding which is also sold on Amazon, but in my case, that would be more pressure in exactly the wrong places. I hope you found this review helpful as you make a decision on whether to buy this shoe. I wish I could have worn them.

New look but still comfy Crocs
I decided to get a new pair of Crocs as an alternative to flip-flops this summer; some days my toenails need some privacy and I don't want to put shoes and socks on when it's 100 degrees here o go to the store. I've owned Crocs for a long time but hadn't been aware of this new style until recently. Reminds me of Converse shoes. I wasn't sure if I liked the look all that much but ordered anyway. The pair I received was made in Mexico and although they match up in size with my old pairs if I wear the heel strap down my toes jam into the front of the shoes. If the strap is up I'm fine so it seems they must have made some of the heel straps slightly shorter than before. For those not familiar with crocs, they are a lightweight plastic but thick and soft slightly rubbery feeling but with no smell. Air holes help but if you have hot feet or live in high temperatures they can be a little warm at times but not unbearably so. These are not high tec water shoes (try Keens) but are perfect around the pool or working in the yard. With very little care they last years. Easy to rinse off and they look like new. I did leave one pair in the shed as my gardening pair and the high heat caused them to split open after a couple of years. I do like the look of these now that I have them and will probably order another color. I do recommend these as an alternative to flip-flops or other light slip-on shoes. They do wear well also. I'm very rough on my shoes so it's a pleasant surprise at how well they have lasted. All in all a very good quality for the price. If you think you will be wearing them with the heel strap I'd suggest buying them in a store to check the fit. With the strap up they are loose but have no problem staying on your feet.

CROCS sturdy, washable, good value!
Great product overall--sturdy, washable, airy, long-lasting, worth the price. I'd say women's sizes run a tad BIG, maybe 1/2 size or so, but that's not a big deal. My wide feet really like these!
