After-Shave Balm

Quality facial moisturizer with a mildly exotic scent. A little extravagantly priced, but well worth the investment in yourself!

EXCELLENT product! I am a female with sensitive skin. I went into my dermatologist's office because I had an allergic reaction to the eyebrow wax my beautician used. Even after 24 hours the reaction was horrible. My Dermatologist recommended this product. I have to admit I was a skeptical, but this balm calmed down my skin, made the itching go away, and made it better within an hour after application. It was AMAZING! My Dermatologist said that I could use it every day even though I do not shave. I realize it is for men who shave, and that I am not using it for (probably) what it is supposed to be used for, but it really helps soothe sensitive skin and nourishes it. I will continue to use it. I love it!

The Sandalwood has always been my go-to for Art of Shaving products. But I find that to be a great fall/winter scent, and wanted something a bit lighter for summer. Man, this did not disappoint. The scent - which I can best describe as citrus and floral, but definitely heavier on the citrus scent - is just perfect. I loved it the moment I smelled it. And when my wife first smelled me, she said it reminds her of the amenities you get at upscale beach hotels. She said I “smell like vacation.”

It’s my last resort for aftershave. It has never failed me. No allergies, skin reactions or anything funky. I believe, that it’s overpriced. Scent is very mellow and it’s not annoying. It will fade within half of the day, but it doesn’t linger on your oversensitive nose.

So this is nice smell. You put it on and smell it and it fairly goes away in 10 minutes or less. Now that's a great price to pay for something that goes away so fast. Unless it has some type of balm in it that really nourishes the skin, I can't justify paying so much for an aftershave. Brut smell lasts longer....Aqua Velvet lasts longer. Those only cost about $4 bucks but they are least have staying power. So yes I am not sure I'd ever get the AOS aftershave lotion again. The pre-shave oil I would because it's thicker than most other brands of pre-shave oil. But as for AOS aftershave I do not think it's worth the price.

These products may be expensive but when it comes to your skin it's worth it. I shave my head as well and it soothes your skin as soon as you apply it and feels good all day!
