Nike Mesh Daybreak Running Hat

I have or had several versions and colors of this Nike cap. I just use them to keep the sun off my sun-worn head. They do the job. They are handsome enough to wear almost everywhere, but I do fold it and place it in a pocket before I get to the opera. Nike seems to have stopped giving wash instructions in recent days ( or years). I just dip the hat in a small amount of cold water and a small amount of inoffensive dishwashing liquid, let it stand for a few minutes, swirl it around, rinse it in clear cold water, let it stand in the cold water for awhile, and let it hang over the bathtub for a day or so. Gets out all of the perspiration odor.

It could have been a very nice cap for outdoors had they taken care of putting a better adjustment strap. It does not let me tighten it during high wind situations, the strap just doesn't hold beyond certain point.I bought this hat for hiking in SF bay area. Overall, it is a good looking hat with good quality material. I guess for someone with a bigger head it may serve really well. I'm left with bit of a disappointment.

good fit but doesn't get super tight due to the velcro. I can see how this would not fit a smaller female or child's head. I wear a bandanna underneath and that works well. Light weight hat but blocks all the sun and doesn't get hot.

Lightweight moisture wicking fabric is a more breathable alternative to typical heavy canvas caps. Nice for medium cool temps (I prefer visors for warmer temps), soft and comfy.

I bought this hat for my husband. He has a large head and it is hard to find a hat that fits him. This hat is perfect. It is lightweight and washes well. He wears this for golf, his daily walks and cutting the lawn. So pretty much non-stop all summer long. For Christmas, I ordered him two more. One in black and a second in white so he has one to wear when his is in the wash. I have been running this through the washing machine on the handwash cycle and one year later it still looks as good as the day we bought it!

It's very nice material, a beautiful color (better than on the pic), good adjustable size but ..... NO. I don't like it because this hat doesn't look good on my head. Maybe it looks good for you unfortunately I have to give it away.

There is nothing wrong with this hat, but it is not for me because it fits so close to my head by design. I should have researched the fit more carefully before purchasing. I gave it to my son and he loves it, he clips his hair so the fit is good for him.

Hat arrived turn to be exactly what I hoped for which is light. I've been running only for 2 years and one struggle is finding a hat to shade from sun. This hat fits exactly the way a running hat should be, very LIGHT. It also looks great for casual wear.
