ZOMAKE Lightweight Packable Backpack 35L, Water Resistant Foldable Day Pack

I bought this backpack for an upcoming, month-long trip to Japan. My main luggage will be a larger backpack (TLS Motherlode Weekender), but there are several points where I’ll be leaving my larger backpack behind and traveling for 1-2 nights with this smaller backpack instead. So, I wanted a backpack that is extremely lightweight, takes up very little room when packed, is waterproof, holds enough to act as an overnighter, and is comfortable to wear. I feel like I hit the jackpot with this backpack. To test it out, I used it as my carry-on for a 7-night trip to Hawaii. I’ve included three photos showing it packed for the trip. I managed to fit a 9x12” folder with about 1/2” thick stack of letter-sized paper, 5 sketchbooks (I’m testing them too), two bags of pens and other art supplies, a bag of sundries, my iPad, phone, wallet, earphones, a cardigan, water bottle and all the other little stuff one carries on a trip. You can see all of this in the first photo. The second photo is a peak inside the bag with it full packed and still room to spare. The backpack has one large inner compartment, with an unpadded laptop sleeve sized big enough to easily fit the folder, iPad and my two largest sketchbooks. The large compartment is generously sized and will easily fit a small or medium packing cube along with toiletries and a smaller selection of art supplies for my Japan trip. There are also two zippered compartments on the front. The top compartment easily fit my wallet and smart phone. The half moon pocket below is quite large, and further divided inside with a pocket, and a zippered mesh pocket to make it easy to organize all your little things. There are also two mesh water bottle holders - one on either side, and the top elastic held my water bottles quite securely. My third photo is of the backpack with the aforementioned load. (Notice there’s still room to spare. In Hawaii, I used the bag almost every day when going on different excursion. Despite its lack of padding, the wide shoulder straps distributed the load quite evenly and I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable it was, even with a heavy-ish load and longer (mile plus) walks. It also rained on us for the first two days of our trip, and I can now confirm that the backpack is waterproof as well. The only thing I didn’t love were the chest straps. As a woman, I found they were placed just a little lower than was optimal. They can slide up and down for best fit, but the highest placement was still a little low, but not so low that I couldn’t use them for extra security when hiking over more uneven terrain. The fourth photo, shows the chest strap buckled. (You can also see the bright orange emergency whistle/buckle - not my favorite feature) The last photo, I tried to show the backpack’s profile when worn. It’s definitely a slimmer profile than many, which is nice as well. I purchased this backpack and it’s well-made, lightweight, and perfect for a day pack. I ended up buying a larger backpack because I wanted something for travel. I’d highly recommend this backpack, it offered several double zipper pockets along with two side mesh pockets for your water bottles. I would say it’s a medium size backpack.

I bought to take to Alaska. It packed nicely in my suitcase and was a great light weight bag for 3 mile hikes.

very nice backpack, lightweight. nice color, lots of pockets. but much smaller than hoped for - height is good but too narrow and not deep enough - photos on website showing it on people is misleading. Bag is small and compact and would be good for other uses.Just not what I was looking for.

as described , color is vibrate , definitely large, pockets everywhere, super light and you can fold it up super small. totally worth the price that I bought two. (blue) its vibrate .. Its multi-purpose usage.. school, hiking, traveling.. I haven't tested it in the rain but the material feels like it's waterproof. But I'll write an update when I do .

Great bag unfolds for a day trip packs small doesn’t take much space. Folds back you into the pocket when you’re done with it. Love it good for a cruise trip excursion day. Recommended

Lightweight and plenty of room for all your gear.

Bought this backpack because it listed its maximum weight limit (20 lbs) and it was similar to the last lightweight backpack Purchased from Amazon . Unlike the last backpack and EVERY backpack I have ever owned this pack has no privacy zipper or ANY separator in the small rear compartment . Plus only one zipper pull on on the small compartment meaning so you cant just open a little and grab something without opening one side completely . Color is perfect , has a sleeve for Laptop in main compartment and it seems well made - just made a bit cheaply

Jest nieco wiekszy niz 20l mini bagaz Ryanair, co powoduje ze swietnie sie sprawdza w tej roli (zostaje ze 2l miejsca - 35l ze specyfikacji to tylko taki żarcik). Jest wygodny do noszenia, dosc maly po zlozeniu, a dzieki licznym paskom jest tez bardzo wygodny do troczenia na gorze sakw na bagazniku rowerowym, jako ekstra przestrzeń do zapakowania np. biezacych zakupow na wyjezdzie. I raczej mocny - bez strat przeżył 2 tygodnie na Saharze.

Imagina que te vas de viaje y llevas maletas grandes y robusta con tu ropa y demás accesorios pero para salir a recorrer tu destino requieres de un backpack para cargar lo escencial: Abrigo ligero, bloqueador, llaves, agua y hasta souvenirs. Sin embargo muchas veces ese backpack es muy estorbosos o grandes. Y esa es la ventaja de está mochila: ¡SE DOBLA! hacia dentro y queda como un pequeño empaque. No pesa nada y ahí otra ventaja: ULTRA LIGERA. Si viajas mucho en avión te la recomendaría sin dudar, la puedes llevar dentro de tu maleta grande o de mano, doblada y no tienes que preocuparte por el peso extra. En cuanto a capacidad y tamaño: superó mis expectativas. Puse fotos con una botella de medio litro como referencia (aprox 20cm). El tamaño es grande y le cabe mucho. Tiene en total 6 compartimentos que si los sabes aprovechar puedes llevar todo. Mi laptop de grande de 15" cupo sin problemas y le quedaba espacio (tiene un apartado donde se puede meter una computadora) para cerrar la mochila sin forzar los bordes. Sin embargo no recomendaría utilizarla con la finalidad de transportar habitualmente una laptop ya que no hay un relleno interior que proteja tu equipo contra ligeros golpes o caídas como si tienen otros backpacks,por lo que si buscas uno donde transportar tu laptop en un daily basis esta nones ti opción. Sin embargo si buscas 7na backpack de ataque rápido para días de camping cortos o viajes por la ciudad, es la mejor. En cuanto a peso: la cargue con aprox 10 kgs y las costuras no mostraron señal de tensión o quiebre. Muy bien Ahí. Lo malo: las correas no son acolchadas por lo que si cargas mucho peso llega un momento en que si es incómodo para el hombro, aunque puedes hacer uso del broche frontal en el pecho para distribuir la carga, se aligera pero es incómodo después de un par de horas. Si vas de excursión o trekking y llevas mucho peso, tal ves consisera un back pack con ajuste y cinturon a la cadera, está no lo tiene. En cuanto al material. La tela es muy resistente y ligera. Soporta un poco el agua pero no es antigua. Si paseas por debajo de la lluvia seguro se mojaran tus pertenencias pero si, un chubasco ligero o un accidente con la botella lo libra sin problemas. Colores: Me sorprendió lo real a la fotografía. Compré 2, amarillo y naranja. Los dos se ven muy bien y el acabado del material les da un look muy Sportive. En resumen: es muy muy muy práctica
