Works great! Had to buy a 100w block, but once I did, they are so much more compact for traveling to school or work with your laptop. Great value with getting two. It is compatible with my Surface Laptop 4 and charges it really fast without ever getting too hot. Easy to use with the magnet compatible charging port.

Great USB‑C charger cable for my Surface 5. It delivers enough power to run the laptop, and the compact size makes it perfect for travel. This is the second one I’ve purchased—my first PD100W USB‑C charger cable became my primary after the original power adapter failed, and it has been completely reliable. Just note that you’ll need an outlet adapter if your wall plug or power bank doesn’t have a USB‑C port.

doesn’t work, i have a 140w charging brick, the cable is 100w so i should be able to charge at 100w without a problem buy my surface studio laptop says slow charging no matter what, i don’t have the package anymore or i would return it

Fits perfectly and works well with the tablet when the keyboard is hooked up and in gaming can only get 40 watts of power. This could have something to do with the power supply

03/26/2026 - full order refunded by seller, for this I’m updating the review. The feedback from the original review still stands, but the seller did right. ORIGINAL REVIEW- The cable seems to be good quality. It’s much easier to pack than the standard Microsoft Surface Laptop Charger. However, it does not appear to support 100W as advertised. I’ve tried it with an Anker 65w and an Anker 87w, and both show a slow charge warning. Using the same power adapter with USB C cable, there are no issues.

With the proper PD power source this is the perfect solution for charging my Surface Pro. The standard charger has the converter in the middle of the cord, which is often awkward, in the way and less versatile. Have the power converter next to the wall gives you much more flexibility to charge and continue working. It's also much more compact than the original charger. While in the office my Surface Pro is charged via USB C, but when traveling, working remotely or sitting in my recliner, this is far superior to the standard Microsoft charger supplied with my laptop.

The cable is very nicely made and has robust plugs. The only issue is that you will be unable to fast-charge your laptop with this cable, regardless of the charger you use. The 100W is simply impossible, or at best a theoretical capability. The standard USB-C PD "15V" fixed profile is capped at 3A (45W). To reach 60W, essentially every mainstream charger jumps to 20V/3A instead. A genuine fixed 15V/4A PDO over USB-C basically doesn't exist in the consumer market. You can spend $100 on a top-notch charger, and you will still realistically be capped at 37W (these are my real numbers ). I am still keeping the cable, but only slow charging is available.

Cheap cable. Not braided. Tried contacting vendor. No response. Requested refund from Amazon. Skip this vendor, folks.

Lo compre para cargar mi surface en el carro y funciona al 100% no he tenido problemas y tiene un buen largo. El cable no es muy grueso pero es del tipo tranzado por lo cual no se hace nudo. Me sirvio.
