Good value for money

Great spare one for the bedroom I'd say. The charger is almost identical to the original. The difference is that this is slightly longer, but is same height and width and offers a USB A charging port for supporting additional accessories. Even the charging port is identical and fits perfectly well. On the charging port end, identical to the OEM, it illuminates when plugged in. Quality of the lead is very good, flexible and strong. I compared charging rates and it charged at the same rate as the OEM. In Summary, if your original has gone faulty, this would be the perfect replacement. My only criticism is that the design of the charging port isn't the best, but that is the same for the OEM design, so not an issue on the charger. This comes with a fused UK 3-pin plug, also good quality. For me, I have installed this in my bedroom, perfect for me doing some moonlighting and catch up for my work.

Surface Pro Charger 65W Surface model specific power supply, delivers ~65W via 15V & 4A, and has the surface compatible magnetic snap on power tip. Charger has decent cable to connect to PC which has a well protected outlet, and separate mains lead. The transformer block also has a USB-A 5V (5W) output which is a handy bonus. Charger is small brick (11*5.5*3cm) but quite heavy (200g without mains lead, 290g with). Transformer has expected CE safety markings. In use its works fine, good replacement if your charger has been misplaced/broken. Arrives wrapped in bubble-wrap inside a plain lift lid cardboard box

My old power supply frayed at the charging end and was rather temperamental so was in need of a replacement. This one works perfectly. Easy plug and play. The unit feels as solid as the original too and have had no issues with it whatsoever. Recommended if yours is getting old or in need of a replacement!

The device started to give me electric shocks every time I plugged it in. It is dangerous. STAY AWAY.

Extremely slow charging (2.5+ hours to reach 100%) and overheated during first use. The light indicator is also barely visible.

Decent quality charger - works perfectly with my Surface. Charges it perfectly and I got this for a spare :)!

I opted to get this after losing my official Surface charger, and I'm happy to report it works absolutely fine. No issues with my Surface charging when using it, seems to charge at the same speed as the original and bonus points, it's a lot cheaper! You'd be hard pressed to actually tell he difference if I'm honest, definitely a worthy replacement!
