Great little warmers - used up mount kilmanjaro at night to keep feet and hands warm in gloves and socks

After struggling with a charcoal handwarmer (which when it works, works brilliantly, but goes out a lot) I figured I wanted something a bit easier to use. These are great - they come in pairs but you can open at either end of the sealed packs, so can use one and save the other for another time - you just open the pack and in about 5 mins its toasty warm. Great for cold bleak days - and I would say it does last a long time. Didn't check if it was 7 hours or not but it lasted my whole trip out and was still above room temperature in the morning! Excellent item.

They do what they are supposed to do-keep your hands warm. I played golf today in a 15/25mph wind so the wind chill was almost zero. The hand warmer heated up quickly and was still warm when I finished as were my hands. They are supposes to last 7 hours but fortunately I have no experience as a golfer of this! An excellent buy.

Bought these as insulation for my digital camera when shooting at night and have found them to be fantastic if insulated .i.e. not much good if exposed to the cold but great if not .not tested out how long they last for yet but recently were fine for five hours on the camera with a merino wool jumper wrapped around.

These handwarmers stay hot for around 8 hours, brilliant for tucking inside ski gloves. At this price they are excellent value for money

The hand warmers are good - as my hand get so cold playing golf and I get difficulty in holding the club - so having one warmer in my pockets does the trick for a round of golf! Not to say my play is any better!! Would recommend

These are simply the best hand-warmers I've ever used. Reliable and long-lasting. If you are going out into the cold multiple times in the same day, just leave them inside your mittens and they will retain their warmth for 8-12 hours. Once activated, I find the key is to keep them inside an enclosed space (pocket, mittens, sleeping bag, etc.) and they'll continue to pump out heat. I also put them in my winter boots (they're roomy) and have never since suffered from cold feet. Add them to your car emergency kit and your survival kit when out hiking. Note: If the skin on your hands is more fragile - like my grandma's -- suggest wearing an extra layer inside your mittens (e.g. those stretchy dollar-store gloves) to protect sensitive skin from the direct heat of these handwarmers. I take these backcountry camping and they are awesome for tossing in your sleeping bag on cold nights - especially if you have cold feet. As per the warning on the package, keep them away from prolonged contact with bare skin.

Have been getting these for years now. Tried other brands and most of the rest are so vastly inferior it's absurd. If you've tried other hand warmers and thought they didn't work - well, you were probably right! These are in a class above the generics out there. Used these on many a sub-zero day while climbing mountains in the winter. They're an absolute game changer and last an amazingly long time. Not uncommon to finish a climb and come home and find them still warm! Only catch is make sure you check the expiration date - if you stockpile and leave them around too long, they can eventually expire but generally good for at least a couple years if you leave them sealed.
