Prepared Hero Emergency Fire Blanket, Kitchen & Home, 39 x 39 in, 1 Pack

You can honestly never be too careful. I got one of these for my kitchen and one for the bedroom. They’re fantastic to have on hand Great housewarming gift. Honestly can’t recommend enough for some peace of mind.

This fire blanket is much larger than expected. Packaged well. Very please. Feel safer now. Good value and easy to use. Would make a great gift for someone too.

Blanket arrived on a Saturday, used it on a stove fire the following Thursday. It smothered the fire immediately, before the smoke alarm shrieked. The "burn marks" washed away thoroughly with merely cold water. So impressed I bought additional for family members and friends.

I purchased a second one after having to use the first one to put out a small fire. It's easy to use, but any fire no matter how small is a very uncomfortable feeling. Great quality, and value for the money! Works a described.

They need to have these in their homes. Even if they never need to use them. I am so glad these were in our house.

I never thought I’d have to use it until I did. It worked super fast on a candle that had paper on the outside and wouldn’t go it. Worked instantly. Buying for my adult children for Christmas.

Be careful even before opening red packaging to check out product because some residual fiberglass on outer packaging that I didn't expect. Wear gloves when removing from amazon packaging. Reason for 4 stars. Hope I never need to use it. Feel safer just owning it.

I purchased the 4 pack last year and gave 2 away as Xmas gifts. Kept 2 for myself. Recently accidentally turned on my stove which set my tea kettle on fire through the flame retardant mat. The plastic base melted, the handle burned off but I was able to contain the fire with this blanket. The mat saved my stovetop. The blanket kept the fire contained and cleanup was a breeze. I’ve already ordered replacements for both items. This blanket is a must have for households. Worth every dollar!

This product looks perfect. I bought the two pack of Prepared Hero fire blankets. One for my home and one for a gift. I can’t try it out as it is a safety item, but it looks like it will do the job. I bought the two pack of hooks as well as it looked sturdy enough to hold the package, which it is, and be strong enough to yank the tabs hard in an emergency to pull the blanket out of the packaging. I didn’t want to DIY a hook and have the release slowed down by a poorly sticking hook when needed. Great decision. Don’t compromise, get the hook(s) also. The blanket will be where you need it when you need it, and will be able to be pulled out in a split second.

Fire blankets are used in oil fires where the accelerant (oil) is not miscible with water. Most household cooking fires are oil fires, definitely need an excellent-quality, certified fire blanket along with an ABE extinguisher. 5/5.

Great quality. Peace of mind. Thankfully haven’t had to use them yet but it is definitely peace of mind to have one to hand.
