UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt - OCTO Core DSP Accelerator

So glad I bought this. Easy to setup, works like a charm. Now I can add the Studer A800 on every track! I was thinking about getting the Quad but for only 50% more, the Octo just makes more sense. My mixes have so much more flexibility now that I don't have to commit the plugins so early on in the process. If you're looking to boost your mixes, grab one of these. You won't regret it.

Great quality product, nice durable build. Runs all of my plugins just fine. Love UAD plugins. Runs smooth, easy connection to my Mac. Does run a little hot sometimes but nothing too serious.

CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP!!! UAD doesn't even include the cord to connect the freeking satellite!!! When did UAD become to cheap race car toy that doesn't include the batteries. What is the point of ordering this product and not being able to set it up when you get it. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with how CHEAP UAD IS BEING!!!!!!

My first thought when I got my hands on this baby was, "It's the cutest thing ever." It even comes with it own miniature acoustic panel. Of course it also solves all my UAD DSP issues, allowing me to focus on the creative process, and less on how I'm going to accomplish the final mix down. As a righteous dude once put it, "If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up."

This thing is awesome. Wish I knew it came with free UAD SSL and Neve plug-ins before I bought them the week before!!Was maybe going to buy another Apollo 8 and get this free, but would have gotten the Quad. The octo makes it so that I rarely have to worry about DSP. Just can't run the SSL 4000 plug in on every channel like I want to....

Does what it says it does! I can use tons of plugins without feeling troubled that I do not have enough DSP to spare.

A massive performance improvement to my Apollo Twin Duo system. Unbelievably easy to set up. It just works, a necessary piece of equipment if you plan to mix.

Works as advertised. The UAD emulations are far superior to Waves and require serious horsepower to function. This box delivers!
