This depends on your intentions. If you are a man looking to attract a female then I would say no. If you are a man looking to attract a male then I would say yes. Art of the Root has many oils for various reasons each one has a decription of its use if you click on the description.

so as a man, can I use this with the same results but on a woman?

When I wear these oils men and women think I smell amazing. It's quite floral, so I'm not sure you'd want to wear it, but you could diffuse it, or put some on cotton pads to enjoy the fragrance.

Can this be used directly on the skin for effectiveness?

Yes it can as of matter of fact it works even better

What does it smell like? What are the notes in it?

Hi. It's hard to describe. It's soft and light, but almost fruit-like in my opinion. This is my first experience with anything beyond lavender or rose. I paired it with an attraction oil by the same maker . The combination was noticed by all, with an unexpected result. I'm sorry I'm not much help, but I don't think you'll be disappointed.
