I'm going to be honest, at first I thought Olaplex was overrated and overhyped, I've tried so many leave-in conditioners including expensive ones but none of them kept my hair moisturized or tamed, I have long unmanageable wavy hair (and color treated), I thought it was going to leave residue since it felt awkward when I put it on my damp hair but I blow dried it and put my hair in a braid (overnight heatless waves) and I kid you not my ends feels more hydrated than ever the next day! My waves are literally bouncy, shiny, and no frizz at all! My hair gets greasy quickly but so far I havent had that problem and lasts longer! I personally don't have an issue with the price and the value is worth the price since it can do much more than simply moisturize, it's basically everything you need in a single bottle and it is definitely effective and does what it says, will definitely stick to this from now on! And a little goes a long way!

I have bleached hair that I apply vivid colors to. I've been using the Olaplex system (No3, 4, &5) for years. This helps reduce breakage and keep my hair feeling strong even through the damage that bleaching causes. I usually use the oil in my hair after washing but I found it just wasn't giving me the extra moisture that my hair needs after its washed. It is expensive and it's not a large bottle but I only use a small amount and it should last me a while.

This is the olaplex product for me. I tried no 8 which was like a lighter version of their active ingredient. Then the no 3 which I have now but didn’t notice any differences I just use it hoping it’s doing its thing. This one made my ends feel literally fixed after the first use. They were crunchy and puffy after heat styling twice in one week (with heat protectant) and nothing was fixing it no amount of moisture or anything and this fixed it. Wow. Will continue to use this one. I don’t need to try other brands or even other olaplex products.. I see now that no 5 has the right amount of their active ingredient and the right combo of everything for my particular hair and apparently I needed a leave in version. Grateful that I found it. It is expensive for the amount so maybe I’ll just try to use it weekly idk but clearly it’s worth it. Maybe i can even use heat styling again thanks to this. I’ll try again when it’s time to trim my ends. I have extremely soft (thus delicate), fine, type 4, coily hair that doesn’t tolerate direct heat and hopefully this will help me be able to break that rule without experiencing breakage at least a few times a year, thanks so much!!!!!!!!!!!

I docked a star because Yuka doesn't rate this well, but gosh does my hair love this stuff. I've tried to find other leave ins but my hair won't let me! It keeps my hair soft, frizz free, light, shiny, clean. And the best part - unscented!

You need to make sure that you distinguish between the Olaplex No. 5 conditioner versus the No. 5 leave in conditioner. I have both of them and one you use in the shower and the other is appropriate for after the shower, and the dispenser is different. Both products are remarkable, and generally, my hair is very dry and course, but after using it, my hair became noticeably softer. I don’t use it every day, but I use it several times a week and it has really improved the condition of my hair. The No. 4 shampoo product is remarkable if you have never used it. I am told that as you get older, here tends to get harder when you get grey hair. This brand is recommended by almost all hair stylists for a good reason

Great conditioner, leaves my hair smooth. I have curly hair and I get nice waves when using this conditioner.Seen the result I bought the shampoo as well , and repeated with the leave in conditioner.
