Doom - Collector's Edition (PC CD)

Didn't work on pc. Threw away!

I have played the shareware "Doom" a lot, and occasionally "The Ultimate Doom" and "Doom II", but never had them myself. I only needed the WAD files, as I'm running "chocolate-doom" on a Linux box. I am very pleased - it performs perfectly and I am getting to know the games better than I ever did before. I will try joining or serving some online games at some point.

Well fun game mostly got a good rhtym in the first doom but i reckon it gets a bit difficult on the later games and the cd case i got was slightly broken but i had some spare cd cases hanging around. All in all its a bit of a classic.

I remember this when it was given away free with a PC magazine. It was ground breaking at he time and got me hooked. When I saw this for sale I thought it would bring back all those great memories. I'm afraid it didn't. Graphics are very dated, and controls basic. It DOES play on Windows 7 if you download a missing DLL. Don't buy this for nostalgia. Dust off your original Half Life disks and lose a few hours/days instead!

While the supplier was very prompt with offering solutions to installation problems, the fact remains that it does not sit well on Windows 7, however on XP it works finw.

Bought doom collection game and received only 1 out of 3 disks.

BRILLIANT GAME GREAT CLASSIC BEST YET IT HAS ALL THREE GAMES ABSOULUTE BARGAIN AMAZON U ROCK =] now there is not really any flaws except graphics but what do you expect from a game made in the 90,s it freakin kicks new games out the window it is a diffenite MUST for game lovers and people who hate demons of course

I HAVE GIVEN THIS GAME ONE STAR BECAUSE IT LOADED ONTO MY COMPUTER OK. THAT IS WHERE THE GOOD REVIEW ENDS. I APPRECIATE THIS IS AN OLD GAME SO THE GRAPHICS WERE NOT GOING TO BE THE SAME AS DOOM3 BUT THE GRAPHICS WERE SO BAD I TOOK ONE LOOK AROUND AND BINNED IT. IT NOW RESIDES IN MY DUSTBIN BECAUSE I WOULD BE EMBARRASED TO PASS IT ON.
