Most of the trouble comes in knowing how to play the rhythms which this book helps greatly with. All in all I would greatly recommend this series.

great sight playing aid.
I'm a piano teacher and I bought this book to try as a sight playing aid for my students.First off let me start by saying that I really like this series. Though I have only tried this book, I really like it it's methodical yet challenging approach. It progress in 'stages'; Each stage becoming more complicated by syncopations, hand shifts etc. Sight reading would more accurately be called rhythm recognition, in a way, students have less trouble knowing the notes. Most of the trouble comes in knowing how to play the rhythms which this book helps greatly with. All in all I would greatly recommend this series.

Este es un buen material para practicar la lectura a primera vista en el nivel intermedio del piano, es decir, contando con dos o tres años de estudio previo. Incluye aproximadamente 115 ejercicios, en 40 páginas, divididas en 9 secciones, cada una subdividida a su vez en: uno o dos ejercicios rítmicos y aproximadamente 12 ejercicios de entre uno y tres sistemas.
