I use these in my 3D printing to help with inserting inserts. They worked great.

This insert tool is great for settings inserts in plastic. It screws into the end of the soldering iron and press into place. This is what I recommend for setting inserts. The fit and quality is good. They heat up very quickly and have a good grip in plastic. A good value for your money and I recommend this product.

Beautiful set of tips. Work great just what you expect them to be. I wish that there was an option to get these with the inner portion of the insert half threaded. This would help remove inserts as well and the only thing I'm missing from the M3 version I already had....but for inserting only these are great!

Ive only used the M3 tip but it has worked great for many inserts. It is a nice set.

These are very durable heatsink tips for the M3 heat inserts fit in my solder iron with no issues whatsoever

For years I faked this tool by simply using the soldering iron bit. Despite being careful. every once in a while the soldering iron would not let go of the hot insert which usually messed up the hole. These tools resolved that nicely.

I think these are better than the screw on type. They heat up fast and feel solid and stable compared to others I have used. So far, no funny odor or discoloration when used at higher temps.
