Just filled it! #1 it does not leak! Had a different one, I liked it but difficult to open to clean and leaked salad dressing. So easy to clean!

Works well and easy to use

I purchased this to explore making homemade salad dressings from scratch. So far I've made up a variety of vinaigrettes, ranch dressing, south western ranch, and an asian sesame dressing. All mixed / emulsified very well with this mixer, and it takes no time at all, just a couple good shakes and you're good to go. My wife says she will never buy another store bought salad dressing again. It's nice to have dressing with unique and fresh flavors... But, I digress... So, the mixer has two parts, the lid and the bottle. The two screw together well and easily. The lid is removed when adding your ingredients. Screw the lid on, pivot the spout closure, hold the spout closure closed with a finger tip and shake away. About five to ten good shakes and you're finí... So, where's the rub... The pivot closure tends to not close tightly and give a good seal, so you have to make sure you keep a bit of pressure on it when shaking or you'll have a mess on your hands. Also, when you open this closure and pour your dressing, it tends to run around the axel shaft that the closure pivots on and accumulates on the outside of the closure. This isn't a big deal, but it does create another clean up job that a small design change might eliminate. Second... The measuring marks could use a bit more contrast with the clear plastic body of the bottle. While readable, they could be much more readable, especially once ingredients are added to the bottle. So, all-in-all its a winner and I do recommend you buy one, especially if you want to explore making homemade dressings and eliminating additives in your diet. Here's a first recipe for you to try: 4 oz of EVOO 4 oz of Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar or one of your choice. Pretty tangy, if you like it more mild cut the vinegar in half. 1 tbs of Dijon Mustard 1 tbs of Course Dijon Mustard 1/2 tsp of Kosher salt (Adjust to taste) 1/4 tsp of Course ground black pepper 1 tsp of lemon thyme OPTIONAL: 1 tbs of honey Enjoy!

Le Must-Have de la cuisine ! Un shaker a vinaigrette, cela semble un accessoire, un truc futile qu'on achète dans une foire un dimanche ... Mais détrompez vous ! Vos vinaigrettes n'auront plus la même saveur ! Une simplicité d'utilisation incroyable, on dévisse, on verse, on revisse et c'est fait, une contenance idéale pour plusieurs salades, pas de vinaigrette a refaire a chaque fois, de plus on peu aromatiser tour ça, je mets souvent un bouquet garni pour infuser dans l'huile, on peut varier simplement en ajoutant des ingrédients, on ferme, on remue et le tour est joué. Même après plusieurs jours sans utilisation, il suffit de remuer un grand coup et la vinaigrette est prête. De plus cela ne prends pas de place, vraiment tout est parfait. Le joint au niveau du verseur est parfaitement hermétique, aucune projection même si on secoue fort, tout est parfait, je l'utilise depuis plusieurs années et il est toujours là. Pour vos après midis ensoleillés, petite salade au dans le jardin, la contenance est suffisante pour plus d'une vingtaine de personnes ! Il passe au lave vaisselle sans problème Vraiment c'est l'invention du siècle ! ➕ Les plus : Simplicité Solidité Durabilité ➖ Les moins : Si on fait le difficile, ces dommage qu'il soit en plastique.

Amazing for salad dressing

材料全部をいれて蓋をすればどんなに振り回しても安心なシェイカーです。上のポッチを倒して出来上がったドレッシングをサラダにかけます。 手が全然汚れません。暑いお湯と洗剤で丸洗いすればいつもカラッとした状態が保てます。ガラスじゃないから倒しても割れないしテーブルに出しておいても所帯じみないところもいい。全ていい。
