Thermostat Stand

Fantastic. This product makes like quite a lot easier, the fact that I can use my 3G from ANYWHERE and turn on the heating in my house so that it's warm when I return is incredible. Fantastic for keeping the device held in a position of comfort high visibility! I am also given the option to control temperatures and length of heating, as well as the water and the amount of time I want that to stay on. The quality is fantastic as it feels very premium, you can use the buttons to activate this as well as the app. And I love that the screen shows you the temperature very responsively, as well as the length of time. The stand holds very confidently wherever I place it, has a very clean look and looks modern. The build quality is awesome and holds together fantastically. I think that this product is awesome, a very particular example I can give you is when coming home from a haircut, feeling itchy, you can turn on the water before you get home. And you're ready for a shower.

So pleased with this stand. I was a little apprehensive if it woukd fit the v2 Thermostat, so I messaged and had a prompt reply back, suggesting I buy it and try it and if it didn't fit, I could get a full refund. How could I resist. It promptly arrived the next day. First impression was that the white is exactly the same as the white on my Hive. It was so easy to fit, I followed the instructions, no screws. Excellent product. Also easy to remove from stand and replace back on wall when the weather changes for the summer, as it came with a backplate which hides the battery. Wish I'd bought it years ago, my heating would have worked a lot more efficiently if I'd moved the thermostat from room to room.

Very good stand. Colour matches the thermostat exactly, and looks as if it was part of the thermostat as manufactured. Very practical, as it enables you to move the thermostat to the room you are currently occupying to make sure that room has the exact temperature you want. Very stable base. And it’s half the price of the official Hive version, and in my opinion looks better, though that is a matter of personal taste. And it’s about a third of the price of some of the stands on Amazon, but seems to be of a very good quality.

Thermostat was originally stuck on the wall in the hallway like so many others. With energy costs going through the roof I thought why am I letting the temperature in an area of the house I don’t live in determine how often the boiler came on. So initially I clipped it off the wall and placed it in the sitting room where I spend most of my waking hours, this worked well for me apart from the fact the back of it was exposed and it had to lie on its back so was hard to read check the temperature on. The stand is the perfect solution and I really wonder why I didn’t get one of these years ago.

I've read some of the 1* and 2* reviews. Some of these reviews are NOTHING to do with this stand. Customers are complaining about the Hive Hub and British Gas etc... etc... etc... I also understand the issue with the corners of the backplate not being rounded. However, this item fitted my Hive Hub 2 (as shown on the product purchase page itself) without any problems. I've not had to make any modifications. The item is sturdy and the base has a nice weight to it. Comes fully assembled and all you have to do is to clip the Hive Hub 2 onto the backplate. Very happy with the purchase.

I keep this on my coffee table its functional, practical and looks very attractive.

I bought this as I recently installed a Hive Gen 2 along with a new boiler. My old boiler had a handheld thermostat and I continually wished it was on a stand, as there was always the potential of losing it or dropping liquids over it etc. One thing you notice with the Hive 2 is that it is very heavy, therefore would make sense to mount this onto a stand, I initially baulked at the price of this item, and I considered buying a cheaper item. However after doing a bit more research I decided it was worth the extra money. You remove the Hive's backing plate and install the stand onto the device. This means the thermostat is more secure and is seamless - a nice design touch. The final look is stunning. The best way to lift the device it is from underneath. This way you are less likely to press any of the buttons when transporting. I knocked this yesterday and it didn't fall over as sturdy. You could also glue the base to a surface if you required also. A good aesthetically pleasing item which is well worth the extra money over other items.

Really nice little stand, sturdy and looks good. NOTE..it replaces the back on the Hive thermostat. Just take the original back off and click the back on the stand on. Place the unit where you want.
