Perfect light fixture to modernize the lighting in a hallway
Our 35-year-old hallway light fixtures still looked like new, but definitely looked out-of-date and did not provide the amount of light I wanted for our main floor hallway. We recently had our kitchen remodeled and loved the look of its recessed ceiling lighting. It thought I would go more toward that look for our hallway and decided to try out these inexpensive slim flush mount 7-inch LED lights from Brightever. It was very easy to replace our existing light fixtures with these new LED ones (remember to turn off the power at the circuit breaker). The mounting bracket screws right into the existing ceiling electrical box. They supply standard electrical nuts to connect the wires, but I prefer to use WAGO lever-nuts because they are easy to use and very secure. It only took a few minutes to hook up each of the two lights I installed. After setting the lights to my preferred color temperature (4000K), they easily twist onto the mounting brackets. The lights are thin enough to give a "recessed ceiling light" look to them and they definitely updated the look of our hallway. They also give off a very nice quality and ample amount of light. Frankly I wasn't expecting much from a $10 light fixture, but these definitely exceeded my expectations. I would definitely use these again for a hallway or similar lighting situation.

Thin and bright
These lights are bright. I cannot vouch for longevity since I have them for only a short time, however they are quite bright and the thin profile made them valuable to me. For years I have been trying to replace the 300W halogen bulb for a LED alternative without replacing the light fixture nor downgrading the luminosity. When I saw how thin they were I knew I could try to insert one of these inside the fixture without modifications. I did and I was very happy with the result, even when I have to reorder again since that was not the original plan.

Absolutely fantastic.
I purchased 16 of the 7 inch, four of the 12 inch. I could not be happier with my purchase. These come with mounting screws, wire nuts and a bracket that is very simple to install. I saw it in the reviews that people had difficulty mounting them, I cannot imagine how that's even possible. Install does not get much simpler than this. The only thing I would recommend is splitting the sheath to give you a little bit more wire separation when connecting them. These things are installed in my basement, the color temperature and light diffusion is perfect for 9 foot ceilings. These replaced lights that were way too bright and felt more like spotlights. These lights have five selectable color temperatures and they are working great in my finished basement. I highly recommend these.

Good light, but others are better
I bought and compared 3 different 9" diameter flush mount ceiling lights: ECOELER (B0D4LZQWHS), TOPELER (B0DZX4LYNS) and Brightever (B0DDKQMV2T). All were advertised as 9" dimmable with 5 selectable color temperatures, and brightness of 1800, 2000 and 2200 Lumens respectively.Out of the box, a few things stood out:• The ECOELER and TOPELER were exactly 9 inches in diameter, while the Brightever was 8-5/8"• The casings of the ECOELER and TOPELER were identical, though the markings were slightly different• The Brightever has a ground wire; the other two don't.• All 3 are sturdy, nice looking lights with thin bezels.I installed all three in the same pendent fitting, one at a time, 35" above my kitchen bench, and took light readings at bench level. There was ambient light, and my light meter is a cheapy, so the figures are only meaningful relative to each other. All brightness tests were done at 3K.The two larger lights were essentially the same brightness, while the smaller Brightever was 14% dimmer – despite having the highest advertised Lumens. They were all brighter than a 100W incandescent bulb in the same fitting, but such a bulb isn't designed to throw light downwards efficiently. They were also brighter than a Home Depot EcoSmart 4EU2 bulb, which is a switchable downward-facing LED bulb, set at 100W and 3K.The last thing I tested was dimming. This is where it became clear that the identical looking ECOELER and TOPELER had different electronics. The TOPELER and Brightever dimmed well, but the ECOELER didn't dim much, and flickered badly trying.I took each one apart, expecting to see a bunch of LED's facing down through the frosted plastic. Instead, I found an LED strip that ran around the inside edge of the light, perpendicular to the diffuser and pointing towards its center. The plastic diffuser is quite thick, and acts as a light guide for the LEDs, which face straight into its outer edge. Clever.LED spacing looks the same on all 3, so the smaller diameter explains the dimmer light of the Brightever. Every second LED is yellowish; the others are closer to white. 2.7K is achieved by lighting only the yellow LEDs, 6K only the white ones, while 4K lights all of them. 3K and 5K light all the one color and half of the other. Sure enough, 4K is the brightest setting.A couple other notable things: the ground wire of the Brightever isn't connected to anything, so it's just a placebo. And the TOPELER alone has a 1/2 mm-thick steel layer covering its entire back. These lights get very warm, and I assume this acts as a heat sink. The other two lights have a naked plastic back. Despite the same shell as the ECOELER , the TOPELER seems better built than either of the others, and I suspect will last longer due to the heatsink. The Brightever says it has a CRI of 85+, while the ECOELER implies the same. The TOPELER claims 80+. I have no way of testing these numbers, but trust them no more than the Lumen claims. The prices of these lights ranged from $9 each for the flickering ECOELER in a 4-pack, $10 each for the TOPELER in a 2-pack, and $11.25 for the smaller, dimmer Brightever in a 4-pack. Of the three, the TOPELER stood out as the clear winner, though the Brightever was also good.Wiring tip: if you're mounting under an old can light or in a fitting that used to hold a regular-sized screw-in-bulb, buy pigtail socket adapters (e.g. B0F9L1WXD9) – they make wiring *so* much easier.

Excellent price on 4 easy to install bright and temp selectable lights
I used these to replace 4 open bulbs in my finished garage. Very bright and convenient with the color temp switch. I accidently installed one with the 2700K instead of the 6500K and was surprised to see how yellow our lights use to be. Currently, I have all lights on the property at 5000K or 6500K. The few remaining to be converted look old and dingy. The 2 piece light allows the mount to be attached to the junction box, in my case round ceiling boxes. Just connect the 3 wires (black, white, ground) and twist lock the light in place. Don't forget to set the color temperature as they are preset to 2500K.They are very bright, on the verge of being too bright in an 8 foot ceiling garage. If you find them too bright, they are dimmable. I initially planned on installing a dimmer, but after a couple of days getting use to the light level, they don't seem too bright..Strongly recommend these lights.

Lotza Lumins For Few Bucks
I purchased six months ago to replace ceiling fans with lights in our new, used home. Today I got around to putting up the first one. The installation was a breeze, and I am blown away by the lumens. Made me reach for my Raybans. The room I installed it in is 12 by 14 feet with an 8 foot ceiling. There isn't a dark corner with this new light on. The light distribution is very unifirm. I just ordered a dimmer. I haven't played with the colour temperature yet, having put the selector in the mid position when I hung it up. This produces a white light, around 500 Kelvin I guess. My wife doesn't find the fixture attractive, and I admit it's plain. But in every other functional detail it surpasses the junkie old fan - light it replaced. I believe this is a good buy.
