I Ranch. After loosing 3 Leathermans in my fields and pastures, I was tired of spending the exorbitant price for an apparent expendable tool lol. I bought this multi tool, and to be honest, I love it, love the look, love the size, it'll cut barb wire fencing with ease because of the size. It'll bend the same wire with ease. It can be operated with one hand, you just gotta have some grit. The size of the blades is perfect, like having a full sized knife on your hip, and they seem to keep an edge. The scissors are a dream to use, especiallywith gloves. The jig saw blade feature is truly excellent, you can pop a metal blade in there and now you have a hack saw in your pocket, then swap it out for the file to clean up your cut. I keep it in the pocket of my coveralls, so I don't lose it, and have the case, separate in there, I use the case to hold extra saw blades and bits, aswell extra batteries for my headlamp. Speaking of the bits, it really is nice to use regular construction bits in it, you do need ones with the ball bearing for it to remain secure, however I haven't had any annoyance with that fact. Overall, the tool is a dream. I like the fit and finish, feels like a tool that you can abuse, which I have, the pliers also make a good hammer if you swing it right, but would not suggest using it to drive in a framing nail but a fencing staple will do. The tool is stiff, but it'll loosen up. If I lose it, break it, I'll buy another. 100p

A few weeks ago I lost my Leatherman Surge whilst felling invasive aliens on my farm. Being a Leatherman Man for decades I immediately starting looking for a replacement, because a man is not properly dressed without a Leatherman on his hip. A little browsing on the net revealed they were now about R4000.00. This stung a little and motivated me to consider heretical views. I soon came upon the BiBury brand on Amazon and they manufacture what is for all purposes a direct copy of the Leatherman. The price was only R1 433.78. It came with a pouch which is an extra from Leatherman at about R500.00 and also a set of assorted screwdriver bits which can go for anywhere up to R900. So the Leatherman would cost R5500.00 if it came with all the extras included by Bibury. All this value at such a low price made me worried about things like quality, but then I concluded that considering the price the loss would not be unbearable if it turned out to be a lump of junk and I could still use it in hand to hand combat in the bush. In the fullness of time the item was delivered to my door. Firstly it was well packaged and secondly it came with all the extra bits and bobs as advertised, The unit is essentially an exact copy and looks and feels just like the Surge, except for the gold exoskeleton. Everything feels firm and opens and shuts and cuts the way it should. One can understand why Trump is wetting his panties because the Chinese are eating the USA's lunch, especially if they can produce a copy of an iconic American product at such a reasonable price. So far I am impressed and only time will reveal the Bibury's true quality as Time is the master of all. In closing the only advice I could offer the manufacturers is that they consider doing something about the name, as it speaks of nothing I can relate to unlike the Leatherman that appeals to tough, practical, self sufficient manly men like myself.

Great tool. All edges are smooth so it feels comfortable in the hand. I spent ages modifying the Leatherman Wave I own so it would be comfortable. It won't pinch your hand like the Leatherman when using as a pliers. Good size scissors. All tools lock open. Great!
