Great fun

Played it lots of times and it’s extremely funny! Better than cards against humanity! It’s so easy to play and it’s very funny!

Seller was great. The game is good fun. Similar to card against humanity but cards can fall flat sometimes in being comically connected to the scenario. I would recommend with that in mind some turns are redundant

Really fun game super funny

As a few others have mentioned, being in the UK it is very clear that the cards were written for a US audience. You can easily go through all the cards and remove the ones which don't make sense, but that does take a long time and also ruins the surprise of what all the cards are. The reason for the 3 stars however is simply down to gameplay and the limited humorous cards. The concept is very similar to Cards Against Humanity, except for our group of people this game just didn't really flow as easily. A lot of the cards were graphical so everyone would have to lean in to view the comic strip that's being created - it's not something someone can just read out. Also a lot of cards didn't really work or provide any humour, there were entire rounds without any funny combinations being played. Overall, I think it's an ok game. it's a refreshing change to Cards Against Humanity but one which (a) requires slightly more effort and concentration and (b) is better suited to the US.

Great but very american

Bought for my sister and she's already had a few games with friends. I've been promised that it is indeed incredibly rude and hilarious.

Abbiamo utilizzato Exploning Kittens - Horrible therapist per giocare diverse volte con i miei amici. è veramente divertente ed intrattenente. Molto comodo il fatto che una partita può durare pochi miniti oppure ore, puoi fermarti quando vuoi. Abbastanza intuitive anche le regole del gioco.

Die Prämisse ist einfach: Man schlüpft in die Rolle eines völlig unqualifizierten Therapeuten, dessen Aufgabe es ist, absurde Ratschläge zu geben und dabei die Klienten mehr zu verwirren, als ihnen zu helfen. Was als ein humorvolles und skurriles Konzept beginnt, entpuppt sich als eine Mischung aus schwarzem Humor und gesellschaftlicher Satire. Es gibt eine vorliegende Frage und Antwort, zu denen dann die lustigste Therapeutenreaktion ausgewählt wird - ähnlich wie bei bekannten Spielen wie Cards against Humanity oder What Do You Meme. Das Gameplay ist leicht verständlich und eher narrativ, was es ideal für eine entspannte Runde macht. Man muss zwar keine schwierigen Entscheidungen treffen, aber die kreativen und absurden Antworten, die man den Patienten geben kann, machen das Spiel zu einem unterhaltsamen Erlebnis. Witzig, anders und definitiv eine willkommene Abwechslung zu klassischen „ernsten“ Spielen, hat an Weihnachten mit der Familie für viele Lacher gesorgt. Aber Achtung: Passables Englisch sollten alle Teilnehmenden können!

It is very easy and extremely funny. Definitely NSFW and not for kids, as it has a lot of crass humour and cartoon nudity, gore, etc. but with the right crowd it's a riot. I have played Joke Hazard, and this is similar with just a different framing and so having both is still a different experience. I prefer this game personally, and so did the other participants if that helps. I recommend with any game like this, don’t bother keeping points. What we did was voted each round what we thought was the funniest card but you couldn’t vote for your own. One time when we all were bummed that the card we drew was better than we played, we just played the same round again. Discard between however much you want, the goal isn’t to win the round, but make it hilarious for me and my friends, and this approach improves all games like this. So Joke Hazard, Cards Against Humanity, Apples to Apples, whatever. Try a non competitive play sometime if you haven’t, it’s great.
