Bomb Busters Board Game

My family has really enjoyed this game. We keep going back to it. I love that it is a cooperative game. I also like the fact that it requires logical and deductive thinking (so, BTW, it is not for kids). In my experience it is very different from other games, so it takes a while to learn. But the play starts "easy" and quickly gets quite challenging and more varied as you play it more times, although you could stick with the easier setups and the play is still different every time.

Great for all ages (or at least 8 to 40ish). Easy to learn and each new level adds some complexity.

Fantastic game if your group is up for a little cooperative bomb disposal. Dramatically reduced alpha player problem because communication is restricted and information asymmetry keeps everyone from knowing the same things. Lots of different missions provide replay value

This is a fantastic game!!! We have played this with a variety of people with great success. As the game progresses you can introduce new mechanics with the storyline while still maintaining replayability. Never gets boring!!!

Only on Mission 17 (out of 66) and already loving it. Slowing moving through the missions because I keep having new people join. I do like how they get more and more difficult. My biggest beef with co-op games is that they often have a mechanic that once the team figures out they become far less challenging. This one keeps changing it up with lots more to come. They even have new rules that are stickers that you don't unveil until later missions. One fun thing is that the side of the bottom box has places to apply "trophy" stickers. You earn them as you progress through the missions. Means nothing to the game play, but kind of a really fun addition. Plus you get stickers in each box to desk out your tile holders. Just fun ideas I haven't seen before.

Fantastic game! Bought this because I like having the Spiel des Jahres winners. My wife and I tried it out with another couple, and had a good time playing through most of the introductory missions. Looking forward to our next game night to try the next set of missions! If you like logic and reasoning puzzles, this is a game for you. Definitely requires you to think through the possibilities and use the information at hand to make deductions. The only thing I wish is that the stands which hold the “wires” were a bit heavier in case they get bumped. But certainly doesn’t detract from the fun of the game and the tension when pointing at wires to cut! Would be great for families as long as the kids are old enough for logic puzzles.

Amazing game

Great cooperative game that’s easy to learn and fun to play. Perfect for game nights with friends or family. Highly recommended!

This quickly turned into our favorite board game. Has some similarities with Hanabi, but is much more fun with the different missions etc.
