Update: So, I returned the vacuum and got a refund. Then a couple weeks later they reached out to us, wanting to send us a replacement. We explained that we had already returned it and gotten a refund, but they still wanted to give a replacement. We were pretty surprised by that! I'm sure they wanted me to update the review, and you know what, I'm happy to! I waited several months, because I was kinda expecting it to stop functioning as well, or at all, but it has been great!! I have it scheduled for every night, and it pretty much completely keeps up with our family of 3 adults and 3 kids, as well as all the company and extra kids we have over all the time. Every now and then I sweep to get in corners, but this thing does the heavy lifting of all the floor cleaning in our house! I barely do anything except refill the water! I'm so thankful for it. I think we'll be purchasing one as a gift. I've been holding off on that until we saw if this replacement was good, but I'm confident the first one we got was just a dud. We're super happy with it! Great customer service! Old review: At first it felt like magic. That lasted about a week. From the very first day I got errors saying the dust collection couldn't be done successfully because it was clogged. Every single time I checked the robot and the base both thoroughly and they weren't clogged, and it always seemed like it emptied the dust just fine. That's workable, so I wasn't too worried. Then I started realized it had stopped the scheduled nightly cleanings after about the first week! I just checked that it's on the schedule and it's still there. Tonight I told it to clean a specific room and it couldn't find "the specified area" over and over. It kept getting lost, told me charging was unsuccessful when it wasn't even back at the base, etc etc. Error after error. It won't clean at all right now. I'm so disappointed. I've been looking forward to getting one for a couple years, and with 3 small kids it was going to be such a help. The actual function of it was great. It cleaned well and was magical for a whole week.

Update (7.7.24 - 8 months): Reducing my Rating to 1. I'm sorry I purchased this and feel as though it was a waste of money. At best I can use this as a regular vacuum without the mop function from here out but now need to find a new solution to mopping my main floor's hardwoods and kitchen tiles. What a waste. I had noticed that the internal collection compartment was getting gunked up. It seems that because it is vacuuming and mopping at the same time, it is basically mixing dust and water to make a mess inside the vacuum. When you normally mop, you sweep the area first or vacuum it, then mop. This device mops while vacuuming which makes wet dirt. This then is not ejected into the waste cannister correctly and can quickly build up. Essentially, you need to manually clean the vacuum every time you use it with the mopping feature defeating the purpose of the automatic waste cannister. Today I noticed the unit is leaking. I don't know from where but I found a wet spot beneath the charging station and it appears the hardwood floors beneath have been slightly damaged due to getting wet over time. I wanted to like this product and did my best to give it every chance. Unfortunately it fails to deliver on what it was designed to do and in the future I will not be looking to Eureka for my vacuum or mop needs. (original post) Purchased this for the 1st floor of my house 4 months ago. Tile kitchen, hard wood hall, hard wood dining room with an area rug. I also have a step down into a sunken living room and on the opposite side of the house, a step down into a sunken den. I don't have pets. I knew the living room and den would need the vac picked up and set back down which was fine. My main goal was to get something that would mop the kitchen and hardwoods regularly. Here's my experience thus far. What I like: - The cleanout cannister doesn't need to be emptied after each cleaning, is easy to use and dump out, and doesn't require special bags like some of the other brands. - The mop feature has been doing a decent job keeping the floors clean. - For a mop and vac unit, the price was good compared to some of the other brands. What I don't like: - The App is not the best. Some screens just need you to select a different option but other screens require you to also select a tiny check at the top corner. Not very intuitive. The room maps allow you to set up named regions and even virtual walls but there's no options to set mop or vac intensity by room. For example, I'd want my kitchen mopped with the highest mop settings but the halls with the lowest. Also, I've set it to not mop at all and just vacuum and found it mopping anyways. - The logic gets confused and I have one spot where it will continually return to, back up, move a few feet away, then return to the same location again. It will do this over and over until it runs out of charge. I've tried remapping the area, relocating the base station, doesn't matter. I just now set up a virtual wall in the App to try and stop this from happening. - Mopping reservoir has no gauge and the vac and app do not indicate when the unit is empty. As I haven't tried any other brands of vac/mop combo's, I don't know if any of these issues are better or worse industry wise.

El producto es aceptable, pero en mi caso particular, la función de fregar no funciona desde nueva., ya que no ha sido posible que bombee agua hacia la fregona. He intentado todo lo que sugiere el manual de usuario para intentar arreglar esta función, sin resultado alguno. La atención del vendedor es nula y no responde a la garantía. Compré garantía extendida AIG GARANPLUS, y ellos solo responden desde que haya vencido la garantía del fabricante, la cual es nula en México. No recomiendo ni el producto, ni al vendedor.

Update 2024-04-06: Updated to 5 stars. The thing is rugged. I had an extension cord on the floor and that would not stop it. Further, why I bumped up the stairs; my husky’s hair does not build up in the drive shaft, which has been the primary issue with all my previous vacuums (it eventually ruins the motor or strips the drive shaft). This thing is my #1 choice for dailyvhusky hair management. The only remaining cons: 1. The vacuum sometimes does not run during its scheduled time. Customer support was friendly, but not very helpful on this issue (they just asked if the firmware was up to date) 2. The mop function is a waste of space. I would rather have it be a dedicated vacuum. One week review: Highly recommended for husky hair. This is the seventh robot vacuum I have purchased. Eufy was my previous go-to, but recent models are worse for husky hair. Pros: - roller brush and motor connection is a large frustum shape, with the motor housing well-protected. This so far has prevented husky hair from invading the motor internals and causing any seizing/melting of plastic parts. This is the biggest pro, as it’s been the most-consistent failure point of previous robot vacuums. - app is decent. It feels rushed and/or non-english, but it’s good enough for me. The features are very easy to use - the robot has so far avoided getting stuck anywhere and is relatively quiet on its second-highest mode - the bagless self-emptying station is amazing - it can usually cover 731sqft in one go, but the more obstacles, the faster the battery drains Cons: - the roller brush access can appear secured, but will fall off during a clean. You just need to verify it’s secured whenever you remove it - the mopping feature. I have no need for it, and all it does is take up precious space. I’d prefer to get a dedicated mopping module - the brush gets wrapped up in dog hair, as expected. However, if you look at bussel pet hair eraser upright brushes, they don’t have this issue. I’d hope this could be solved by more than just bissel.
