Great for guitar and bass
I wipe my strings down with this stuff after playing and it extends the strong life. It lubes the strings just a bit to help with glissandos but does not feel greasy. I've been using this stuff for 30 years (back when the container was metal) and it's great. I tried the D'Addario version and was not impressed.

It's like a spa day for the guitar.
I like using slides and hammer-on techniques on my acoustic. Fast Fret lets me do that without the annoying string-rubbing noise. Pull-offs and hammer-ons lift cleanly and quietly. Fast Fret is quick and easy to use. It comes with an applicator and a cloth that wipes dirt off the strings. I run it from the nut to the bridge for a smooth, consistent feel.

Will not reduce string talk
Good for cleaning. Not much else. Definitely does not reduce string talk at all. Did not notice any meaningful speed improvements. That spray they sell at guitar center is infinitely better for those things. Been playing 20 years.
