Transformers Generations Exclusive Cyber Battalion Class Shockwave Figure

Requested by 10 year old who loves it. It was more of the challenge than some of his transformers. Great fqr rode trip entertainment.

They can't give him and Megatron their gun forms anymore because people will flip out, but this is a nice compromise. Looks like old-school Shockwave in robot form! Shockwave was the first transtransformer, he has a weird thing for Megatron in the G1 cartoon.

Shockwave appeared all the way back the first episode of the original 1984 Transformers cartoon, and this is very clearly meant to look like him with a new spaceship alt mode instead of a handgun to comply with modern safety laws (and not get your kid shot while playing in a park, which is always a plus.) Lacks knees aside from the thigh twist for transformation and his chest block is a little loose in ship mode, but don't let those stop you, this is a great toy at a great price. Stands 7" tall, and is about that long and in wingspan as a spacecraft. Nothing is impossible to break, but I can certainly recommend it both for adult collectors and for actual children to play with and toss around "because he's a spaceship, he's gotta fly!" -- the plastic is decently thick and chunky at stress points and any parts that pop off should be easily popped back on by any adult and most reasonably dexterous kids from six or so up. Note that the wing tips/hands/etc. are not as pink as the photos make them seem, the actual plastic is more of a red-purple to the main color's faintly metalized blue-purple.

If you were going to get your little ones started by collecting, this is the figure, or line to get.. simple to transform in three steps, strong plastic, easy to play with.

Got it for a gift to a friend Wasn’t really impressed by it but a friend like that so I guess that is all that matters definitely don’t think it was worth the price

This figure is great for collectors and nostalgia buffs and children under 7-8.the posibility is terrible and with no knees,arm swivels or ball joints of any kind which means lackluster articulation but overall ignoring the articulation its all right

個人的に理想的な初代風ショックウェーブで満足です。 簡易変形故、膝の可動が無いのが残念な部分ではありますが、首、肩、肘はそこそこ動いてくれます。
